About the host
Hosted by Michael Meacher
This is my future retirement home. I currently live in Calgary working as an engineer on heavy civil projects. I decided to share my place with others rather than let it stay empty. My sister manages the property while I'm away.
Why they chose this property
I've spent my childhood summers in this area surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. This property once belonged to my Mother's first cousin. There is nothing better than a daily swim in the river.
What makes this property unique
This location overlooks four rivers. The Trout River, Granville River, and Founds River, all flow into the Stanley River, and out to the New London Bay, and Gulf of St. Lawrence. The water is salt water and tidal. Temperatures get up to 26 degrees Celcius in the summer.
