Welcome to Blackburn Muskoka! This newly built tiny cottage is steps from public access to one of the most picturesque lakes in Huntsville. Walk into the crystal clear water and you'll find a beautiful sandy bottom. The cottage offers spectacular forest views from an expansive deck and large windows. You may be lucky enough to see some wildlife close up! 10 minute drive to the many amenities downtown Huntsville has to offer. 1 bed, 1 bath, full kitchen, pullout couch, WiFi, fire pit, heating/AC.
Modern cottage with an excellent balance between inside and outside living; quite literally as the deck is as big as the interior footprint! The spacious deck offers multiple lounge areas. The place is cozy and offers all the comforts of home.
*Things worth noting* While the water is regularly tested and is potable, we do not recommend drinking it.
The cottage is on a public year round maintained paved road. Snow tires or 4x4 drive in the winter are still recommended.
The Starlink WiFi has an approximate speed of 80mbps. It has proven to work well with most if not all streaming services.
If you would like to utilize the pullout couch mattress, please note that we do not supply bedding, or pillows for it; there is a fitted sheet already included.

While not for everyone this small house was sublime for our recent visit to Huntsville. Economical and efficient space - plenty of room to spread out for the two of us!! Comfy bed, huge deck and peace and quiet. Sarah is very quick to respond to questions. Close to all amenities in Huntsville but off the beaten track in the forest. Loved it.

My husband and I are from Southern Ontario, but we try to come up to Huntsville whenever we can. We enjoy the many activities the town has to offer including hiking, using the many beaches/water accesses available, and eating/drinking at local restaurants.
