Spanning two levels, the home offers six bedrooms and four bathrooms, generous living spaces, relaxed and formal dining areas, a spacious lounge, cinema/media room, and the convenience of a lift between floors.

Unwind in the indoor heated pool room before stepping out to the terraced patio overlooking the lawn and gardens, or enjoy a soak in the outdoor spa pool under the stars.

With plenty of parking and space for the boat, Omaio is perfectly designed for memorable stays with friends and family.

And the best part? No need to rush your final morning.
Omaio offers a relaxed 6pm departure, giving you the freedom to enjoy a full final day — whether that’s a slow breakfast overlooking the lake, another swim in the pool, a soak in the spa, or one last adventure exploring everything Taupō has to offer.

House Rules and Information:

Parking: there is garage access and off-street parking space available for 5 vehicles.

Noise monitors: The house is fitted with smart sensors that monitor noise. The equipment does not take photos or record conversations. It sends alerts if noise is above a threshold for a sustained period.

Security Cameras: There are security cameras set up on the exterior of the property for security purposes. There are no cameras inside, or pointing at the outdoor sitting area.

Linen included – we are a holiday home management company who use professionally laundered linen & towels.

Cleaning – exit clean included in nightly rate.

No parties, events or loud groups. Neighbours are very close and are to be respected at all times.

This is a smoke/vape and pet free property

This is our second time here. It’s a great property for large families. We had 10 adults plus the 2 year old and there is space for everyone. Garage games and indoor pool made rainy days a breeze! But when the sun is shining the view is amazing!

Fantastic gem in Taupo

This is a truly fantastic property - great location, lovely views, personal swimming pool, separate movie room, sprawling gardens, sparkling clean and very well equipped. We didn’t lack for anything and would love to revisit. A few children’s toys for a rainy day would help even more. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Perfect place to gather the Clan!

We had 3 generations together for the weekend. The house was a great size and layout for us to stay together but also go into separate groups for different activities. Great lawn for boules, large enough property for a good treasure hunt too! Indoor swimming pool was a bonus! Yes it’s seems expensive but if you fill the house, it’s still cheaper than a hotel. We will definitely be back!

Business Planning Hui

We required accommodation and space to be able to put together the business plan for the next few years. Omaio was perfect for our needs, with plenty of room to workshop, collaborate and plan; as well as having great spaces where we (6 adults) could decompress and have alone time. We appreciated the pool and spa complex to help with relaxing. The rooms were well-appointed and had comfortable beds. We decided to cook in rather than eat out and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The weather was fantastic, so we got to see the spectacular views of the lake and town. Would definitely recommend and use it again for this purpose.

Spectacular Views

We were a 3 generation group and all of us enjoyed the spacious house which had amazing views and spacious deck. We loved the swimming pool. Highly recommend this house for larger groups.
