Shopping weekend

was in maine for the weekend trying to find land to buy. Though the location of the house is nothing special the area it is in was perfect for us. House was very clean and comfortable. We little time we were at the house was spent downstairs where the living room is. House is very cozy and bed was super comfortable. will be returning for another weekend.

Overall the property was nice. Everything was clean and the check in was very easy. The only issue was the water pressure which was extremely low, almost none. And as such, we also ran out of hot water (presumably because the water heater couldn’t fill). Otherwise, a nice place, good internet, street noise was not a factor.

Lovely place

This cabin is “charming” as stated in the listing. It is an older house that has been updated to reflect a modern aesthetic. There is a jet tub in the bathroom if you want a “spa” type experience for your bath. The amenities include a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer. The wi-fi worked well. The host welcomes guests with snacks and water on the kitchen table. Nice touches that invite a re-booking in the future.

Overall a nice experience! The only caveat I’d say is that the heat doesn’t go into the rooms, only in the living room, so if you close the door at night it does get pretty cold. Hope the host could provide more blankets. Also it’d be better if the host could put a real curtain for the room that faces the road. But the decor is really cute and facilities are awesome.
