Relax with the whole family or a few friends in our off the beaten path cabin nestled along the Little Sandy River. Bring a kayak or some fishing gear and enjoy the quiet seclusion of The White Oak Cabin. You are surrounded by the wilderness but still close enough to take the family out for a movie.

You're 30 minutes away from Ashland, Kentucky, and 30 minutes from Portsmouth, Ohio. There are also a few restaurants, a grocery store, and convenience stores about 10 minutes from the cabin.
The space
This completely remodeled cozy 2 bedroom hideaway is great for a romantic getaway for two or a family adventure. You will enjoy all the comforts of home with central heat/air and a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes, and silverware you'll need for 4. The Kitchen features a full-sized electric range, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. There is a 42” roku tv in the main living area. Hughesnet satellite internet for working remotely or streaming.

Enjoy working a puzzle, playing a hand of cards, or reading a book while enjoying the peace and quiet of Mother Nature on the beautiful porch looking at the river.

There is also a concrete parking space and a beautiful area to enjoy a fire on a cool evening. You can sit and enjoy the sounds of the woods.

There is a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, and two twin beds in the second bedroom.

Nice mountain getaway

It is a cute little place in the mountains/hills. Place has all the home furnishings (kicthen items, living room, beds, bath, etc)Since we stay during winter will nice to see the area during the summer & fall time.

Hard Beds

We thought the property was beautiful inside and out but the beds was so hard we did not get much sleep. We decided not to stay another night due to a death in the family and we just could not bear to sleep on those hard beds. It was disappointing in that aspect but the place was nice. Was disappointed we didnt get a partial refund for our trip.
