Located on 33 acres just outside of Fredericksburg, TX and right off of Wine Road 290 is Cross Mountain Cottages. Each cottage provides the perfect setting and location for a quiet weekend retreat in Fredericksburg, or rent all 12 cottages for your special event with family & friends. There are nine newly built cottages and 3 that are original to the property, all impeccably furnished and decorated. There is also a stunning premiere event space available to book when renting all cottages.

AMENITIES - Beautiful views of the Hill Country with covered porches, a pond, outdoor common areas with a gas firepit & seating, common area outdoor pavilion with three gas grills, cornhole, WiFi, Smart TVs in all living & bedrooms.

The apartment and furnishings are brand new. Feels secluded although its a block away from a main road.

Your location and scenery was Beautiful, Unfortunately the fire pit was not in working condition and we were not able to enjoy it as planned. I did not like that not all windows or doors had any form of coverings on them. There was no stove to cook any meals, no condiments or spices of any sort were provided, also since there was no dishwasher there was no dish soap to wash any dishes if using any and only 1 dish towel for the entire stay.

We’re glad you enjoyed the location and scenery. The fire pit is in working order, though it’s possible the propane tank had run empty during your stay—there are several extra tanks available onsite for guests to use. All bedroom and bathroom areas do have windows, and the property is not advertised as having a full kitchen. Dish soap is also provided at each cottage. We appreciate you sharing your experience and will continue working to make stays as comfortable as possible for our guests.

We loved the stay here. The property is set back off the highway so it is quiet and you can see the stars. The cabin is so nice and the BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. Host was extremely accommodating and check-in was very easy. We would definitely stay here again.
