Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Its a perfect place for a getaway. Far from noise but close to all the attractions. Virginia (host) was very kind to leave beverages and breakfast for us. She communicated very promptly. We had a great stay !!
Very quiet, very remote yet only a few minutes from town ….. loved the morning sunrise and the serenity …… would recommend to anyone wanting to get away, but wanting to be close to convenience
Really enjoyed our short three night stay. Great porch with view and breeze! Well stocked home that sits right outside town. Was slightly difficult to find the home as it wasn’t well marked but otherwise a cozy weekend rental.
House was beautiful, classy and very comfortable. Was secluded but very close to all the fun Fredericksburg has to offer. Very happy we had a carport when storms came through. Highly recommend!!
My husband and I along with another couple stayed here for a weekend getaway to reconnect after several years living in separate states. The front porch was adorable and the house was perfect for the 4 of us! The wi-fi was spotty, but this was to be expected given the location and we enjoyed being able to disconnect. The location to downtown Fredericksburg was perfect. We will definitely be back for a cooler weather month visit!
House was very cozy and clean. The owner accommodated us with all the basics plus some extras. The house was in a great location right outside of Fredericksburg so we had some nice countryside to look at. I would definitely rent this house again.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of this little home which accommodated 4 adults and two 4yo boys. They had plenty of room to play outside and we were only 1.5 mile drive from edge of Main Street. Def a favorite for us. First out of many stays where we had everything we needed or wanted whether we stayed in and cooked or went out and came back to unwind.
We enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin! I loved the location as it was just outside the city , but yet only 5 minute or so drive from downtown Fredrickburg. The cabin was cute, we enjoyed our coffee every morning on the porch swings. The kids enjoyed watching the birds and playing under the beautiful oak tree. The cabin did get a little warm in the afternoon/evenings and would have been nice if the bathrooms were a/c’d but overall it was a great stay!
Property was clean and well stocked. Owners left water, milk, cereal and oatmeal which was a nice touch. Loved sitting out on the front porch on the swings. There was a hornets nest on the porch, they weren't bothering us but I emailed the owner to let them know just in case future guests were allergic. They came while we were out and sprayed them. Overall enjoyable trip, would stay again.
We loved it- perfect for our family (two sets of adults and a 2 year old). We loved the location- felt like we were in the country but were two minutes from town so super easy to get to everything. Our favorite part was the porch and huge live oak tree. (In fact, we ate all our meals outside just to enjoy it- mornings were beautiful and our two year old thought it was great to be able to eat outside :))

Loved the property! Very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. There were two of us, so plenty of room, with each of us having our own bedroom and bathroom. Needed the carport to protect our car from the rain and hail one night-thankful. Great country views, with lots of birds and hummingbirds enjoyed from the porch swings.
This was a perfect spot for our cousins weekend to view the wildflowers. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, and the little touches that Virginia provided. A nice bottle of wine, coffee, and breakfast food. Communication was great and I would definitely stay there again. Even had a deer come and greet us one morning.
Only wish we had had some firewood for the fire pit. And perhaps a couple of throws for sitting outside when it’s cool.
Thanks for a wonderful weekend
This cabin was perfect in every way.
Accommodations: two master suites with king beds & bathrooms provided comfortable space. The shower was great and bed was comfortable. This location had a porch that is positioned so that you can see the sun rise and set. The host stocked the home with everything you could possibly need.
Location: Best of both worlds. Close to town at only 1.5 miles from shopping and dining but nestled in a relaxing country setting, We encountered deer and a fox while sitting around a fire.
Host: Very responsive and accommodating.
We had such an amazing time at this property. We (myself, husband, best friend and her husband) came to celebrate my best friends 50th birthday. The property was very clean, very comfortable and very thoughtful. The property owner went out of her way to insure a special celebration. We were visited by several humming birds and a pair of foxes. We also saw deer in the distance. There is the most beautiful Live Oak in front yard. The owner also made the check in and out so easy.
This was the perfect property for our stay. I will definitely be back and will recommend to others.
Great property, very clean, cozy, location was perfect near main street and still had that country view. Everything we needed was available especially things to do in Fredericksburg winery tours and numbers. We will definitely rent again for our next getaway.
Everything was great. Location was great. Nice having your own bedroom with a bathroom , beds were very comfortable. The only thing we found was we ran out of hot water you had to take a shower ahead of time and let the other one go to let it build back up but other than that everything was super clean and nice. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will rent this again. Thank you very much!
