Very nice and clean . Close to the beach it was just perfect and affordable. I loved everything oh the hot water was better then a hotel and the beds were comfy.
This property exceeded our expectations by a lot. It was very immaculate & well appointed. You get the beachy feels as soon as you pull up to this little gem. I searched for weeks trying to find a property with the perfect beach vibe & 3 Palms is it! Even our 8 year old granddaughter was over the moon for this place. The flamingo room was her favorite of course. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The only small glitch was discovering that we didn’t have any hot water on the night of arrival. I notified the hosts immediately. Even though the next day was July 4th, they had someone there that morning to promptly resolve the issue. Scott & Windy are the best! We highly recommend this property & look forward to another stay in the future.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, and there’s plenty of room so nobody feels like they are on top of each other. With that being said, the listing states 2 parking spots in the driveway and one on the street. The mature tree next to the driveway, makes it a tight squeeze, but the issue is the XXL golf cart parked at the end of the driveway. This left only about 1/2 a spot in the driveway, as half of the car completely blocked the sidewalk. We specifically chose this listing because of the availability for parking as it can be a headache in Galveston. I immediately reached out to the listing agent and had a couple calls back and forth, before the owner contacted me. I was informed it’s legal to block the sidewalk in Galveston, which I’m sure the Disability Rights Groups would love to hear about. There is certainly a difference between legal & a law not being enforced. Regardless, I was informed the golf cart could not be moved and it is parked there so it can be seen on camera. Fair enough, and the owner did offer a full refund, but being last minute for the 4 days we had booked to try and find a new place, we did not feel like we had any other options at that point.By the time we went to bed the first night, I found a pillowcase on a pillow in the front room where we slept, that was no longer white, but yellow and stained. The pillowcase wreaked of sweat and body odor. So I did wash the sheets and pillowcases before we could even go to bed.
