Quintessential Kiwi Kuratau Bach right on the lake front

Relax in this classic family bach right on the beach.
The main bedroom has a double bed with wardrobe, drawers and shelves. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with drawers and hooks. There is a third bedroom above the garage with 2 double beds.
The living area is cosy with a fire place and wood provided. Couch, chairs, coffee table and TV which open out into the deck. You’ll be tucked away in the bush with the feeling of being really private.
The kitchen is fully equipped for family cooking. Nespresso coffee maker, Microwave and dishwasher plus plenty of cooking dishes and utensils.
Sliding doors open to a deck and from here the lake is right in front of you down a wee path.

right by the lake and a beach with ideal swimming. The house has bush around which keeps it cool in summer. Being dog friendly was important to us. Well stocked and all amenities there. Owner really friendly and responsive. Recommend this place to anyone
The number indicating we had the right property was a little hard to find but the rest of our stay was flawless. The beds were comfy, the house well equipped and the surroundings flawless. Thank you
This was right on the waterfront yet still private, lots of tuis feeding on the ample kowhai trees lining the lake.
just an awesome classic kiwi batch would like to go back sometime

Many thanks for your stay. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for leaving the place nice and tidy. You are welcome back any time.
It took us a while to find the third bedroom. Property was cozy with the fire going. The toilet wouldn't stop running and i was unable to find out why in the time we had there
The cottage was as expected and the lake access was wonderful.Unfortunately the windows were all locked and there was no key to be found. Despite calling the owner who responded very quickly assuring us someone would be round the next day to unlock them, the windows remained locked for our whole stay. Not ideal :(
