Great cottage to be at for a week with kids! Excellent beach and dock with kayaks. Water was fantastic for swimming and excellent fire pit. Cottage had a cozy feeling with a great porch to watch the sunset. We would definitely visit again!

Beautiful place

We loved our stay , the property is beautiful . Great beach, nice walk in for kids . Cottage was clean , had lots of game boards for the family. It can get a bit hot inside as only one room has AC but there were a few fans that helped . Mike responded very quickly to any questions I had, this place is amazing , we loved our stay and would definitely come back !

Great Spot

The cottage was a good size for our 2 families. (4 adults and 3 young children) The water was great and we loved jumping in off the dock. Wish we had a chance to have a fire, loved the fire pit set up. Hopefully less rain next time we visit. Only draw back was we expected A/C, but there was only a window unit in one of the rooms which left the rest of the house real warm. Would stay again!

Spectacular Sunset at the lake

We had a great time both inside and outside of the cottage. Mike was very helpful by providing quick guides and trying to accommodate our needs. This place has all you need for a enjoyable relaxing vacation: wifi, TV and games and a well equipped kitchen inside; bbq, canoe, kayak, pedalo, and firepit and chairs by the lake outside. It was rainy and a little bit chilly when we arrived but a nice wood stove and extra blankets helped to create a cozy environment very quickly. The cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 queen/double beds and one bunker bed that serves 3. So in total it suits best for 7 persons (not 10). The sofa in living room was comfy enough to be used as a bed if needed. If you are not picky on old buildings I definitely recommend this "little slice of paradise"

The accommodation was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen. The lake was great, with super swimming off the spacious dock. We really appreciated the dock ladder, love the angle for easy of access. There was sun on the dock all day and the sunsets were beautiful having the western exposure. The cottage could use a little more tlc, some unfinished trim and base boards, an exposed electric panel in a bedroom, bedroom door hook fell off, many windows didn't open (especially in the kitchen and main bedroom), and the deck had some rotting boards. There were ample fans available however, we didn't need them as we were gifted with cooler evenings after beautiful days. The beds were comfortable. The access from the car park to the cottage, and the access from the cottage to the dock, could be a challenge for some. It's rather steep without stairs. Mike was very quick to respond to a query, and we found a solution immediately. There was a large firepit with ample firewood. The roads out to the main highway were very good for cycling. I would recommend this cottage for a week of r and r by the water.

Overall, we thought the cottage was good, the lake was amazing, and we really enjoyed our trip.The cottage was comfortable but could use some TLC, as a few deck boards and sections of exterior trim are beginning to rot. One bedroom, which contains the electrical panel, also had a noticeable odour. The main living areas were clean, although the fans had quite a bit of dust built up on them. The cottage can get warm on hot days because the main lake-facing windows do not open, but several fans were provided and worked well with the cool evening air. All appliances worked well, and plenty of drinking water was supplied.Mike was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had a minor septic issue, having it addressed within a couple of hours.The dock and lake were the highlights of our stay. The slope to the water is fairly steep, and the sandy/rocky entry becomes deep quickly (17 feet at the end of the dock), so families with young children should use extra caution. The lake was great for swimming and paddleboarding, with a small island nearby, a free boat launch close by, beautiful west-facing sunsets, and a large firepit with plenty of wood.Bell reception was limited, while Rogers had full 5G. The internet worked very well, and the TVs were appreciated on a rainy evening.Overall, we would recommend this cottage for a relaxing waterfront getaway.
