We had just an overnight stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and conveniently located just minutes outside Taralga. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the view over the paddocks and the sheep . Lynda and Paul were very responsive and accommodating hosts. Would happily stay again!

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic. Very very clean and styled beautifully. Everything you need is there and more. The information provided by the host on how to get there and what to do the area was perfect. We couldn't fault anything and will stay there again.

A great escape, perfectly located near Taralga and Wombeyan Caves. I stayed with my friend and her 9-year-old daughter, and we all had an amazing time. The sheep were the highlight for her daughter — the hosts were incredibly kind, letting her feed them, and she even learned all their names. When we left, I'm surprised if she’d tried to sneak Sid into the car with us!

Great place

Clean, well located, spacious, all the amenities you’ll need, friendly hosts. And loads of sheep plus an atmospheric pair of old railway platforms. What’s not to like?

So much more than we had hoped for. It’s not a surprise it’s a 10/10 listing. Lynda and Paul have created a beautiful self contained guest house with all amenities carefully considered and curated. My kids (3 & 5) LOVED being surrounded in the country with the sheep and their lambs, with the ability to bottle feed a few of them. They can not stop talking about it. We are looking forward to coming back again. Hop tips; - follow Lynda’s check in directions, not Google maps- minimal shops nearby. Stock up on your essential items prior to arrival (main towns 30 mins away recommended) because once you’re there you won’t want to leave. There is an IGA equivalent in the nearby town though- we were glad to bring farm shoes / gum boots when out venturing the paddocks- If you’re an animal lover, one night probably won’t be enough

Wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Taralga staying at Fleece, Flock & Fibre. Accomodation is very comfortable with large common area including lounge, dining and kitchen plus separate bedroom - as well as outdoor sitting area. Warm and friendly hosts who were happy to share stories and recommend local attractions. Our teenage girls particularly enjoyed feeding the lambs. Love the fact that the property is just up the hill from town, a very short walk but the distance affords privacy, views and rural setting. Highly recommended.

Awarding 5/5 - Rarely do you rate full marks - most owner pptys you go to there is always something vital missing/ overlooked. Not here. Attention to detail is amazing and similarly the thought that has gone into making a stay here so memorable. When was the last time the ppty owner left their completion list for all to see?

This farmstay has quickly become our family's favourite place to be. This was our second trip here and this little haven did not disappoint. Perfect amalgamation of nature and peaceful life tucked away from the hustle of the city life. Lynda and Paul were the perfect host, very attentive and caring towards our needs, quick to address any issues. The place provides everything you will need for your comfortable stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.

Staying at Lynda and Paul’s property is a unique experience. It goes beyond a very comfortable and clean place to stay with comprehensive facilities, offering an experience of life with a special flock of sheep who happened to be lambing during our visit. Extra special! Other wildlife included echidna and wombats. It is also the site of the old Taralga railway station. Taralga is only 1.5 km away with food options and interesting historical buildings. Lynda and Paul are the perfect hosts, keen to ensure you have a good stay, giving you space but also introducing you to the sheep and answering questions about the railway and local area if you are interested.

We had such a great stay at Lynda and Paul’s sheep farm! Their hospitality was amazing — they made us feel right at home and even took the time to teach us a bit about the sheep and the history of the old railway station, which was really interesting. The accommodation itself was perfect — spacious, super comfortable, and with the most amazing views. It’s also so close to town, which made everything really convenient. Couldn’t have asked for a better farm experience. Highly recommend! 12/10 !!

Paul and Lynda were excellent hosts. Right from booking confirmation until checkout, the communication was very clear from them. The accommpdation was very well maintained and comfortable. They even helped us charge our EV on-site and were happy to take us on a tour around the farm to feed the sheep. Their invitation to the Taralga art show and heads up regarding the snow fall during our stay were very helpful in planning our itinerary beyond our initial plan to wombeyan caves. A hidden gem in the tablelands at a convenient location and price.

A lovely cottage on the edge of town with all the facilities we needed. The kids even got to enjoy feeding the lambs with the owners of the property. Very friendly hosts and excellent communication! Even though our stay was short we loved it!
