We had a great stay at this farmstay. It has everything you need, very comfortable and lovely location in the town of Taralga. We enjoyed meeting and feeding all the sheep and lambs and the hosts are lovely and very welcoming. Thanks for having us.
Our stay was really good! Lynda got us to play with the sheeps and she told us some different types of wools. The home itself reminds me of my auntie’s which is really nice.
Our stay was lovely. Check-in was easy. Location was easy to find. Lovely town to spend the weekend in.The hosts were amazing and extremely helpful.Thank you again!
Fleece, Flock & Fibre was a wonderful place to stay! It was very clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The snacks provided were an unexpected and appreciated treat and we loved the sheep. We eould definitely stay again, thank you Lynda and Paul
Lynda and Paul were great hosts and could not have been more helpful. The accomodation was clean and tidy with some thoughtful extras (such as milk and snacks) which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The surroundings were very peaceful and we enjoyed visiting the Wombeyan caves and having a look at the wind farm nearby. We got to meet and hand feed Lynda and Paul's flock which was a highlight for us all, especially the kids. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night, enjoying the sunsets and the stars in the evening. Highly recommended.
Hosts were very welcoming and shared their farmhistory life. Breathtaking views, quiet and the fresh country air, made it easy to disconnect from the city’s hustle and bustle. Accomodation was very good, spacious, clean and comfy and we enjoyed the farm activities.
Great hosts, Lynda and Paul were excellent hosts. They introduced us to all the sheep, how does one remember 100 names? Amenities were clean, modern, and very spacious.
My children and I really enjoyed our stay. We even got to help Paul and Lynda put the sheep in the paddock, and bottle feed some lambs. The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.
Really enjoyed my stay. Very clean and modern accommodation on a farm setting. Easy walk to the pub for dinner and hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Everything about this stay was just right for me. I like sheep and I like exploring abandoned railway lines so what could be more suitable than a sheep farm on the grounds of a former railway station. The hosts were welcoming and more than happy to share the story of their place and to introduce me to the sheep. I enjoyed some lamb-feeding and feeding the adult sheep who are very comfortable with humans. The cabin was spacious and comfortable with everything needed, very well equipped - they had obviously put a lot of thought and effort into it. It was comfortable like one's own home, nothing fussy or try-hard, just good and solid. Nice breezy hilltop position with wide local views.
Thank you for such a brilliant stay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre. The cottage was clean, modern, and the touches like the coffee machine really made the difference. Loved the history of the place, and our two-year-old absolutely loved being able to feed the lambs. Great location, only 30s from the beautiful town of Taralga
The farm is beautiful, with lots of adorable sheep and baby lambs to enjoy. It’s conveniently located close to Taralga township, with cafés, restaurants and pubs nearby, and only a short drive to stunning National Parks including Tarlo, Southern Blue Mountains, Mares Forest, Gurnang and Abercrombie. The cottage was clean, tidy, thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed for our short stay. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable and the pillow was just right!Lynda and her husband were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
This farmstay has quickly become our family's favourite place to be. This was our second trip here and this little haven did not disappoint. Perfect amalgamation of nature and peaceful life tucked away from the hustle of the city life. Lynda and Paul were the perfect host, very attentive and caring towards our needs, quick to address any issues. The place provides everything you will need for your comfortable stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.
