This was the perfect property for our annual family vacation! The house was spacious with enough room for 10 people to not feel on top of each other, the large pool & kids’ pool were the nicest temps, and the beach was uncrowded & conveniently located just a few steps away. We had 3 little ones under 3 yrs old, and the porch swing with a fantastic ocean view was a favored spot! Our contact, Mallory, was very responsive, polite, and helpful. We used Walmart twice during the week for grocery delivery, & that worked out very well. Would love to return—maybe next year!
This property was perfect for our family vacation!! The house was spacious and had everything we needed for 5 families. We loved access to the beach and pool!
We loved our spring break vacation. The location was perfect & the home was comfortable for our group of 12. We had a minor plumbing issue & it was resolved quickly
This was an excellent property. We all loved the location and the privacy we had. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beach was great. I would recommend this property.

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed your trip to Fort Morgan!
Celebrated our anniversary with friends and family. Great house and location for family fun, but could use a little up dating. My only complaint is the cleaning of the property.
We loved our stay! The house was great only downfall was drive into town and issues wifi just spotty service and could not hardly call out. Property is great though!!

Great Family Vacation
After a few problems that were quickly resolved we had a great time. My wife and I had all our children and grandchildren here for a fabulous family vacation. The pool along with the waterfront location made it very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting great family time. Beach chairs would be a nice added feature.
This property is great for families. My family rented the East side and our friends rented the West side and it was the perfect location for funny in Fort Morgan and surrounding areas. The pool was great for the days we didn't want to be on the beach and the view is excellent! Would highly recommend this house and would stay again. The house is stocked with necessities for to cover the first 24 hours so make sure to pack TP, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, beach chairs and umbrellas.

So glad y'all had a great trip! Would love to have you back anytime!
This was our 2nd year to stay here and when we walked in the kids said " Home away from home". That's exactly what it feels like. It's beautiful and clean and we have our own spaces and you walk outside to a pool and a beach. No hassle with parking, elevators etc. just another family on the other side of the duplex but we have been very fortunate the past 2 years with our shared families!
The weather has taken its toll on the outside and the inside needs a thorough deep clean. The property was nice but definitely needs some TLC. However, it was a nice stay and a much needed get away for our family. We did have a small issue and called the property manager, she immediately took care of it.

Family Beach Trip - 8/2023
Unfortunately, we weren’t in the correct beach home.
Miscommunication between us and owner.
But, the house was just fine!
Excellent location on the beach. Perfect deck to view the beach and pool. Need to fix the screens on the porch. Pool needs to run longer to help with the clearness of the water and the lights in the pool needs to have the timer replaced. Overall the week was great. Can't control the weather or the sea creatures.
great location. neighbors were great. no problems sharing the pool. a few repairs should be noted. the main sloding door is a beast to deal with and it will not lock. the screen door was and has been abused by the wind and coud use a repair job. the freezer drawer has difficulty locking and tends to alarm when it has not been used, probably not fixable. we are already scheduled for next year. we did enjoy our 25th year at the beach.
Our 2024 beach vacation was a success. The online description of the house was spot on. The beach is literally 100 steps from the back door, which is our #1 priority. The pool was a good size for our family of 6 adults and 5 grandkids to enjoy as a break from the beach. There was not anyone staying in the other unit, so we didn't have to share. Loved the patio chairs and tables - sitting in the chairs I could see over the rail without having to stand up. There was plenty of parking for our 2 large trucks and mid-sized SUV; and two will fit under the house with plenty of room to open doors. We cooked all meals there instead of eating out, and we needed a couple larger skillets and another gallon pitcher for tea. We needed some plastic cups for the kids; plastic plates and bowls were provided. We always bring extra throw covers - the A/C worked very well. The host is very efficient and responded to our calls and texts promptly. This house is very spacious. We love the Fort Morgan area ... it's quiet and very, non-commercialized. We would definitely rent this house again.

Great location BUT had some issues
I want to be sure to give a holistic review without it being unrealistically negative, but also experienced some issues I think prospective renters should know.
The GOOD: awesome location as far as proximity to beach, HUGE pool that was great for the kids.
The not so good: The property was littered with garbage (felt 3rd worldish in some ways), I had to fix the dyer when we arrived (wasn't connected to the wall vent and wasn't working appropriately), the windows in one of the bedroom leaked during a rainstorm, lots of peeling paint on the sliding door which was bad for the kids, the porch is a nightmare as far as kids and splinters (I spent more time removing splinters than I did at the beach it felt like), sand overflowed the dunes into the pool which made the pool feel dirty, one of the couches was broken when we got there and was hard to sit on, there were no matress pads on some beds (gross!), we experienced a mouse in the kitchen (not the type of excitement we were expecting).
Overall the location is great - the beach was pristine and the big pool was an awesome plus. BUT, the the property was dirty and littered, the house was dated, and the wood porch was a nightmare with dangerous boards sticking up and lots of splinters, and several items in the house weren't working as they should have been.
First, the communication with the property owner was excellent, she was very responsive to our needs/concerns. Presumably the fault of the property condition falls on the property management company.
When we arrived we found a few issues with the house - some that could have been a day/days old issue and others that clearly take time to happen.
For example, and as recently read in previous posts, none of the sliding doors had locks that worked - they are all broken, you had to put sticks in the tracks to prevent anyone from coming inside.
Some of the carpeting had some older stains in it (Now knowing where they are, you can see them in the listing photos).
The garbage disposal didn't work (which when contacted, the owner had a plumber out the next day to fix it).
The TV's in some of the bedrooms didn't work.
The upper deck had nails that were sticking up out of the deck, along with a metal rocking chair that had rusted so bad that someone had FALLEN though it prior to us arriving.
In the upstairs main master bedroom (South East) there was a leak in the ceiling from (presumably) the roof... There was about a 10' water spot on the ceiling that had BLACK MOLD that started to grow (I sent a photo of it to the owner, and she said that they would take care of it).
Just about every screen on the main back porch was ripped and flapping in the wind.
Quite a few of the decking boards are completely shot and need to be replaced.
Finally, the handrails that are going into and out of the pool have the bolts pulled almost all of the way out making them quite shaky.
Overall the location is great,
The owner was responsive and easy to work with, etc.,
The view was nice, and the beach was great;
However, the house is in desperate need of attention - It's disappointing and frankly embarrassing to pay thousands of dollars to rent a beach house for a week to take family and friends on a vacation and you have to deal with neglected maintenance items like this.
We'll be back to Ft. Morgan/Gulf Shores, but we won't be staying here again.

I apologize that you were not satisfied with your stay. Unfortunately you came at the end of the season before we had an opportunity to see the property for ourselves and make the needed repairs. We have replaced the roof, the master ceiling, remodeled a bathroom, installed new kitchen cabinets and flooring and repaired any areas of the decks needed, as well as several other minor maintenance items.
