Our group LOVED the house. It was the perfect place to unwind and explore Manitoulin Island. The location was centrally located and the hosts provided everything that we needed plus more. The stay in the house was the one of the highlights of our trip.

Outdoor area overall was great. Extra large hot tub was excellent. 2.5 times the length of normal hot tub and much deeper than normal. Outdoor “Fireplace” was great with the wood provided. Location was nice as you could walk to anything in Little current within 10 minutes. Easy drive to the Cup and Saucer trail overlook and also to Bridle veil falls. Both nice spots to visit. Kitchen fully supplied including dishwasher. Rooms are large and AC works well.

We had a wonderful stay at this property over the Labour Day weekend. It was the perfect home base for a busy few days on Manitoulin Island, we cycled around the island, hiked the Cup and Saucer trail, and took in a Pow-wow, and the house made all of it easy.Darcy was an amazing host. She was responsive, easy to reach, and even had some food stocked in the kitchen for us when we arrived, a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel.The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our group. There was plenty of space to spread out after our days of hiking and cycling, and the kitchen had everything we needed for nine people. The swim spa was a huge hit after long days of cycling, easily one of our favourite parts of the property. The location could not have been better for the activities we had planned.We would happily stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the island.

What an excellent place to stay with family and friends. We all enjoyed our time. The property was stunning, the backyard, the massive Cottonwood tree, the hot tub and the inside of the Worthington House was beautiful. Our family and friends and enjoyed our week together here.

Great stay

Wonderful roomy deck area with spa outside. House was roomy allowing 10 of us to spread out in comfort. I would recommend bringing fans as upstairs is a little warm.Overall great memories!!!

Great Place in the heart of town

This was a great place to stay! We stayed over Christmas and the host was very generous to let us put up a Christmas tree for the kids! The host was very responsive to all messages and was very compassionate when an unexpected situation arose. The house itself is big and yet felt homey. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. An excellent stay all around.

We were all in awe of this beautiful heritage home, so well cared for with many great additions. We were one nuclear family , the parents( or ‘rents’ as one of our daughters nicknamed us ), and 3 of our daughters with their families. We used all five bedrooms and felt there was more than ample space in this home for each of us to find a spot for quiet if needed. One of our daughters is a pianist and we had wished the piano was accessible. We ate our meals out on the back deck and also used the awesome hot tub. Lots of games, books, and puzzles to entertain us during the rainy time.The extra treats were a huge hit and so generous. We definitely enjoyed the selection. The kitchen was our favourite room and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was plenty of hot water for dishes and showers.The property was centrally located so we were able to walk to most everything. We even watched the parade and later, the fireworks, from the front porch. The waterfront, restaurants and shops were all minutes from the house and as it was a ‘ Festival Weekend’ there were lots of activities to do and people everywhere! A big shout out to Crossroads Country Kitchen where we were well looked after by the owner even though it was almost closing time when we ordered our dinners. Really appreciated their time, generosity, and learning about the community. We will look The Worthington House up again next time we are in Manitoulin. Thank you so very much.
