Excellent location and wonderful ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away for a few days to reboot your mental health. The hosts were extremely helpful
We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Views and environment are brilliant. The cabin delivered everything promised and was perfectly clean and organised.Erin (host) was prompt with replies to any questions I had.It was the perfect base for us to check out and fish many of the highland lakes within an easy drive. We will have no hesitation booking again.
The property was delightful. We found it quite cold the evening we were there and were very grateful for the log burner. It was a very fleeting visit and it was very good of Erin tom agree to just one night. I had some difficulty on my phone dealing with the VRBO booking (had never used them before) but it was fine on my laptop (technophobe so don't know why!) so my 4 star comment relate to that not the quality of the accommodation. I think we all (4 adults) felt that a few days in the house would have been very relaxing but we were on a very whistlestop tour! Lovely views but mainly dark when we were there!
We really loved it here! It was so cold inside when we arrived (only 7 degrees outside), but after a couple of hours of the beautiful big wood heater roaring, it heated up the cabin well. We drove to the Great Lakes Hotel for dinner which is only 20 mins away. We even saw some deer on the drive home. We'd love to come back when it's snowing!

Was a nice place to stay but make sure you bring food etc as amenities to dine somewhere are none existing for about 20klms
The cabin was well set up and very comfortable, and just a few minutes drive from the spectacular alpine areas of the world heritage conservation zone. We enjoyed some great hikes within an easy drive of the cabin, and in the evenings relaxed with the lake view and then made use of the comfy couch by the fire.
Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return.
We loved everything about our stay here - the views, the peace, the wildlife, the lake… We were a group of 6 and the accommodation worked out fine for us to be together for Christmas. Erin was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend the cabin to nature lovers and anyone who likes getting away from civilisation for a while, but who also appreciates being comfortable.

Awesome little cabin. Off grid, quiet & relaxed. We wanted to experience the cold mountain climate and done it in style. Stayed one night on the way thru to Launie. Properly not for everyone but it was everything we expected. Thanks Erin
