Escape to our log cabin, nestled on 6 acres of land located at the base of Sleepy Creek Mountain. The cabin is a 15 minute drive to downtown Berkeley Springs, WV. Enjoy all Berkeley Springs has to offer including restaurants, spa’s , and Cacapon and Berkeley Springs State Parks.

The cabin setting is quiet, peaceful & secluded. Providing an opportunity to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with friends and family.

Amenities: Four bedrooms that sleep 8 people. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds & one bedroom with a bunk bed (single over full). The cabin has a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer, fireplace, and high speed Starlink internet. Roku streaming offered with DirecTV access. There is also a large wrap around deck with a propane grill and a screened in porch. Outside we have a custom built fire pit to enjoy the evening air.

Things to do: There are many activities described on the Berkeley Springs website. Cacapon state park is 20 minutes away and offers a beach with swimming, sporting clay, horse back riding, golfing and fishing just to mention a few activities. We love the park and visit frequently. We also enjoy hiking and tubing down the Cacapon River during summer months.

Spacious Cabin for a Short Stay

Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. It had everything we needed (kitchen fully stocked, blankets, towels, firewood, internet, etc.) minus toiletries (body wash and shampoo) that we had to bring or buy, but those were easy to get from the store in Berkeley Springs. We definitely loved how secluded the location was and that it was only 15 minutes away from town. We would stay here again.

Girls weekend

Wonderful property and very well stocked. We very much enjoyed our weekend. The bunk bed did seem a little noisy/loose. May want to check the bolts to ensure they are secure.

Great cabin off the beaten path

Really awesome cabin, well stocked with firewood and supplies. This isn't one of those rentals with the bare minimum amenities, this is a place where the owner clearly enjoys and takes good care of the property.Having Starlink Internet was great as well. Highly recommended.

Short and Sweet Stay

Overall it was a lovely experience. The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated. There was thought out in to each area. There were a few hairs in the bathtub, but was fine with a quick wipe down. There was also several of already open and used condiments and food items in the fridge and freezer that we weren’t too sure about haha. The cabin itself was very creaky, like the sounds of a settling house, and none of the living room windows had the option of being covered at night so it was a little creepy not being able to see who or what could be peeking in, but that’s part of cabin fun right? The steep driveway left a lot to be desired as it was not pictured in the listing itself, but only mentioned in the check-in email a couple days before traveling. Not ideal for older travelers. We would absolutely considered staying again though. The host was very prompt and helpful with communication.

Perfect Get-Away

This cabin was perfect. Secluded but close to Berkeley Springs; surrounded by woods, so was shady and comfortable in spite of the heat outside; and incredibly well-stocked, so we lacked for nothing. It was also very clean and comfortable. Great, quiet retreat…a perfect get-away!

Sister Christmas Vacay

This cabin is perfect. Everything was clean and so cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner. We enjoyed the fireplace and appreciated all of the chopped wood. This is a very private cabin, which we loved. We saw several deer in the yard on our first morning. It was also beautifully decorated for Christmas. My sisters and I absolutely loved everything about our stay.

Another truly enjoyable stay

This was our third visit to this property. It’s so nice to see it being maintained compared with our previous experience at many other vacation rentals in this area. The house is inviting and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the screened porch is our most loved feature—spacious and with nice, comfortable furnishings. We always enjoy our time here.

Lovely place, beautifully kept!

It is a beautiful property. The only downside is the very remote location which is quite a distance from everything and something of a challenge to navigate especially at night, but the property itself is a lovely spot for vacationing.It was well equipped, the instructions left by the owner were clear, and it was full of lovely amenities.

Relaxing stay in the country

Wonderful, peaceful house and location. Be prepared that it is a fairly long drive in from town. We especially enjoyed using the screen porch. Kitchen and living, dining space were nice also. Only suggestions for improvement would be: provide more wine glasses - we only found 2 on the shelves, and add some small bedside tables/nightstands in the queen bedrooms. Also, the checkout directions need some clarification about the garbage can procedure and that there is no place to put recycling.

Spring Break Getaway

We enjoyed our time in this delightful cabin. We had it booked in January of this year and had been looking forward to some time away since then. Our expectations of a tastefully decorated and well-equipped cabin in the woods were met and we were delighted upon arrival! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bedrooms were inviting and sheets freshly laundered. With the ample number of rooms, our family was able to spread out which allowed for a more relaxing stay. The overall feel of the cabin was clean and well appointed. Although we didn't use it often, there was a large TV in the living room along with a large sofa that would easily seat more than our family. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, both the front and side porches were delightful at any time of day and the screened in porch offered us some shade and cool in the afternoons as the temperatures rose. We'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a slower pace for a couple days amidst the stillness of the forest.

Beautiful but Hazardous

First and foremost, as a whole, the property was beautiful and well maintained. There were a few things I wish had been directly in the listing. 1. The driveway is STEEP. It was fine for when we visited, but had it been winter we never would have made it to the cabin. 2. The only way inside is both down and up a second set of stairs. I could have asked, but the pictures indicated a stairfree entry, and thats not the case. 3. The basement stairs are completely open on one side which was a little scary for the kiddos we brought with us. We kept them upstairs the whole time, but one bad step could have made a bad accident. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked. The fireplace worked, the view was beautiful, and there was plenty of space for everyone to visit and play cards. Depending on who is coming with you, this is a rewarding trek up the mountain for some real isolation with nature.

Friends Get Away

My teenage daughter and 6 friends from church enjoyed our weekend getaway to this lovely and roomy but cozy cabin in the woods. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials and condiments/seasonings. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The stopper in the first floor bathroom stopped working and needs repair. This group of friends have been doing long weekends away for years...I could see us returning again!

Beautiful property

My husband and I enjoyed a quick getaway after the holidays to this cabin. It was very nice, extremely clean when we arrived, and they are fully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen. This would be a perfect space for a family or group of friends and we have already told people we know that we’d like to go back with them! Just watch out the path from the driveway to the stairs was a bit tough, especially with the snow/ice.

Why they chose this property

You will find West Virginia is a very beautiful state. We love having access to 22,000 acres Sleepy Creek WMA has to offer. Berkeley Springs is a quaint town only 15 minutes away. Cacapon State park is another attraction in the area we visit frequently approximately 20 minutes away. The Woods golf course is 25 minutes.
