A lovely property which was only a 20-minute walk to downtown and the waterfront. Helpful hosts. The eggs, bagels, and coffee were a nice touch. Very pleasant and enjoyable place for a vacation!
This is a beautifully equipped and clean unit that is a 15 minute walk to the main street. There is also a grocery store right across the street. The hosts are very responsive to any questions and were easy to connect with. It was obvious that they wanted to provide a great experience for their guests.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very responsive to all our questions. He had very kindly provided us with all the makings of a nice breakfast. Bagels, eggs, butter tea and coffe and water. The property itself was spotlessly clean. It was situated in a wonderfly walkable area with every amenity close by and downtown an easy walk, even for two seniors. Check in was a breeze and our host Bills daughter greeted us and made sure we had the key pad for the door figured out. Thank you for the lovely stay! Would highly recommend.
Our party included 2 couples all over 73 years old. We found many pleasant surprises during our 5 dday stay at THT's house. It was very clean when we arrived and our first surprise was to find coffee, sugar, sweetner, tea, eggs, bagels, butter and jam. We called our host to check in and discovered that there might be a bit of a language problem but, quickly, he put his daughter (who was fluent in English) on the phone. We found the bathroom very clean with enough towels (but no facecloths). Another call to our host saw his daughter bring us facecloths, a second set of towels and a promise that they would bring another set in the morning. At the same time, she and her dad showed us how to operate the somewhat complicated geothermal HVAC system. That first day set the tone for our stay. Anything we needed was promptly and cheerfully provided. Then, to top it all off, on our last full day, our host brought us a gift of appreciation "for being such good guests." Can't ask for more! All the little things made our stay a highlight of a 6 week pilgrimage to the Maritimes.
