Beautiful views of the lake, very serene and quiet. Pool not open in winter season. Native bird life in bush. Good driving distance to Turangi 15mins. Hot pools just down the road in town before Turangi.

Our family stayed here over the weekend in a two-bedroom unit, and we had a wonderful experience. The unit was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight, though, was the breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Taupō. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake in the morning was a truly memorable experience. The location is also fantastic. It’s close to the Tongariro Trout Centre, which is well worth a visit, and the scenic drive to and around the area is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would happily return, and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Taupō region.

We had a lovely stay at Pukawa Village. Our apartment, 15A, overlooked a beautiful garden and the stunning Lake Taupō, making every morning and evening feel incredibly special. The surroundings were so serene and peaceful , truly the perfect place to relax and unwind. Honestly, the view and atmosphere reminded us of Lake Como in Italy, yet we were right here in beautiful New Zealand. It felt like a hidden gem. The owners are such lovely people , very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The property is very well maintained, and you can really see the care they put into keeping everything in excellent condition. All the amenities were perfect and thoughtfully provided, making our stay very comfortable. The location is definitely a 10/10 , quiet, scenic, and absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back again! — Uditha, Sachi & Swati
