Property was very clean, comfortable and warm. Owners were very good at communicating during booking and if required during stay. The only issue for us was not having an oven. Would definitely recommend this accommodation as it was perfect for us attending a local event in the area.

Rock Retreat provided everything we were after: a beautifully built little house with everything needed, an amazing outlook in a healthy environment, and proximity to nearby attractions. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again down the line.

We stayed here for just one night on our way to Taupo, but honestly, we wish we had stayed longer! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and calming.It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space welcoming and well-equipped. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings.This was the perfect stopover, and we’ll definitely be booking again next time for more than just one night!

This is our 2nd stay here and just like the 1st its exactly what we needed before the xmas rush. Enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, and love that the beach is just a couple mins drive away. Thank you to the host's for such an easy stay
