We loved staying at this lovely home. The views and the facilities were fabulous and the sense of space were just what we needed for our wider family group. It was fun to explore the area and handy with the car ferry so nearby. Thanks Adelaide for all your care in making this a great stay.

Amazing place with an amazing view. The perfect rainy getaway.
Spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and roaring hot outdoor bath.
Most cars should be fine on the driveway in the dry, but might want something a bit bigger for those slopes when wet.
Already can wait to go back.

I was impressed with this beautiful home, the views are immaculate and the style of the home is quite fun. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we are very grateful. Big thanks to tima, communication was bang on! Had no stress or worries checking in, used the bbq for our dinners was nice to sit on outside seating area. Would definitely recommend

Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.

Nostalgic Privilege!
280 degree front views of the moana, acres of lush green yonder with hahi, urupā, te waka aa kaihao and peaceful tranquility.
Pickering Cottage stay was clean, with cosy nooks, traditional cuboards and their fittings, slanted walls, drift wood curtain rods and door handles. Traditional side draws and dining furnisher, no wall paper present with my favourite being the wide KAURI floors. WOW!!
Enjoyed the huge washing utility room that housed everything from washing machine, storage, tools; you name it, they have it!! Oh the new renovated area and foyer entry is beautiful. What did we change? We moved the outside chairs and table to the front balcony. Closer to the sea and great korero with the locals.
The Cottage oozed History telling of it's own whakapapa proudly present as photos on it's walls and connections to this whenua.
