When you stay at Sweet Fern, it is obvious that the host thought ahead of the main amenities as well as small details to make for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. The kayaks enabled us to explore George's pond and watch the loon family who nested nearby, visit "diving board rock", and take in the breath-taking view of the mountains. After a day on the pond, we relaxed by a campfire. The kitchen had everything we needed with regard to pans, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals. The gas grill was extremely convenient. The coffee bar, hand soaps, hand-made afghans on the beds, chargers in the bedroom were small details that were noticed and appreciated. The binder on the table included all of the information we needed. The host responded quickly to questions. We would not hesitate to visit Sweet Fern again.
