Private Harry Potter themed lodge with lovely views

Lodge Loch Lomond is one of 3 self catering properties in a private setting known as Reuben's Highland Retreat.

This Harry Potter themed lodge will delight fans young and old with its quirky design features and memorabilia which adorn the walls. It's the perfect base from which to enjoy all the activities the surrounding area has to offer. The property sleeps 5 guests in two bedrooms. With a newly fitted kitchen and a large open plan lounge the lodge has everything you need for a short break or extended holiday. As well as a TV there is an Xbox and selection of board games for rainy days, and free wifi throughout the property. There's free parking and you have access to a large garden area with your own picnic table.

The lodges are located just north of Arisaig at the start of the coast road which leads past Traigh Golf Course and Camusdarrach Beach to the world famous Silver Sands of Morar. It's a beautiful setting with the sea and islands of Skye, Rum and Eigg in one direction and the rugged mountains in the other. You'll find a Spar, Post Office, restaurant and bar in Arisaig (less than 10 minutes on foot) and if you drive to Mallaig (8 miles away) there's a selection of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and even a chippy! There's a leisure centre in Mallaig with a gym and swimming pool and from the harbour you can catch a boat or ferry to Skye or any of the Small Isles.
A 25 minute drive in the other direction will bring you to Glenfinnan where you can visit the monument, learn about the Jacobite Rising and 'Bonnie Prince Charlie', and climb the hill to view the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the 'Hogwarts Express' as it makes its way to the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry which resides in a secret location nearby!! You will truly enjoy your stay at Reuben's Highland Retreat.

Chalet très spacieux et avec tout le confort. In térieur très douillet et très bien décoré sur le thème « Harry Potter » (nos ados étaient ravis !), moquette style tartan, intérieur chaleureux en bois… Très bien situé pour visiter Glenfinnan (le viaduc et le train d’Harry Potter, le monument jacobite), les plages de sable blanc et de coraux juste à côté, et pour randonner le long du loch Morar qui est magnifique. A recommander.
