Vacation Home with private lake frontage- Great Summer or Fall Getaway!!

This vacation home is situated on the East side of Swan Lake, and offers a beautiful view of the lake, along with 100 feet of lake frontage. There are two bedrooms, both with queen size beds and spacious cedar closets. The home was completely renovated in 2016, to include an updated bathroom with a full size shower and generous storage for towels and bathroom supplies. The living room overlooks the lake, has a cozy propane fireplace and 43 inch Smart TV and wireless internet. The mudroom/entryway has a built in washer and dryer and comfy reclining love seat. The galley kitchen, which overlooks the lake, is fully equipped and the adjacent dining area comfortably seats 6. Cooking and eating utensils, as well as bed and bath linens are provided. Outside, there is a patio with lawn furniture a Weber gas grill, and the private lake frontage is accessible by stairs. There is a new 40 foot aluminum dock, and kayaks are available for use at your own risk. This rental has all the comforts of a year round home with breathtaking views from the house, outside patio and shore.
The home is less than 2 miles from a local grocery store, and just15 minutes from Belfast.

Julie made everything so easy. What a great host. It was lovely spot. We heard loons and saw beautiful sunsets and had a wonderful week! I would love to stay again! Everything you needed was in the kitchen, sharp knives and pots and pans and general dishes. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Long weekend stay

Was very clean. We unfortunately didn’t have good weather, but was able to enjoy some downtime with tv, puzzles, and games. Short trip into Belfast to shop. The only negative was not having a fire pit outside.

The lakehouse was magnificent! Julie has done a wonderful job creating a nice, low-key space for anyone looking to just escape for some peace and quiet. Direct access to the lake and a couple kayaks, a propane grill, and a TV for when it rains... you don't need anything else. It was our first time to Maine, so we did much more exploring than lakehouse hanging. Next time, it's going to be all lakehouse, all the time.

It is a great location!. We ventured out a couple hours in all directions and covered all of our "must sees". The location is quiet, peaceful and clean. The hosts are wonderful. I highly recommend!

The rental was far better than the pictures can show. The owner was very attentive and is also the person that takes care of all the decorating, cleaning, and maintenance and it shows. The weather cooperated as well so the added lake frontage with dock came in handy when swimming, floating, and kayaking. Swanville is a nice area with a little grocery store at the end of the lake with anything you may need or forgot to bring. 30-40 minute drives in any direction and you're enjoying the other small towns in the area and what they have to offer.

Perfect Lake House Experience!

The beautifully maintained home was perfect for our family vacation. The cedar closets, comfortable beds and great views of the sunsets were incredible. We have been staying on Swan Lake for over 20 years and this is our favorite. Nothing is better than listening to the Loons on the lake.

This is a beautiful property. The home is nicely appointed with lovely views. The kitchen is fully stocked with most anything one would need for cooking. The home is clean and inviting. Julie, the host, was considerate of my privacy when being responsive to needs and concerns. My September visit was peaceful. The water was refreshing for swimming. The calls of loons reminded me of why I loved this lake years ago. The nearby Swanville store is well stocked. My nephews enjoyed using the kayaks. There were personal flotation devices available. No need to go anywhere else if you're interested in a relaxing stay.

Maine at it’s finest

WOW...born and raised in Maine and can attest this is one of the best lake houses available. Absolutely pristine condition inside and breathtaking views outside. Swan lake is truly a natural wonder.

I love Maine, especially in the summertime and have owned property on the lake for over 40 years. As a child, I couldn't wait for summer, to spend the summer at Swan Lake, with my family. Swan Lake is a great location for water activities and I especially enjoy watching for eagles, loons and the sunsets are just gorgeous!

This comfortable 4 season home is equipped to make your time at the lake a relaxing get away, whether you spend time outside on the lawn or patio, on the shore closer to the water, paddling a kayak, or inside enjoying the view of the lake. There is a grocery store and gas station less than two miles away, so you will be able to easily shop for groceries.
