Oil Mill is the apartment which housed the original oil press. Today it offers a large living room, dining room, kitchen along with three bedrooms, one bathrooms with shower and a washing machine and another bathroom with tub. One bedroom has a large double bed and the other two have one single bed in each.

The Villa offers five independent apartments each with private outside dining table.
We have refurbished and modernized the property and added a large swimming pool.
The small village of Pozzi where the Villa Maria Doria is located, sits in a privileged geographical position midway between the charming Apuan Alps and the Versilia riviera.

Mehr Schein als Sein

Zuerst das Positive: die Wohnung liegt in einem traumhaften Garten, in dem man gerne sitzt und entspannt. Die Besitzerin ist auch sehr freundlich. Die Möbel waren aber ist stark abgewohnt, die Küche mit einem Herd, einem Kühlschrank (Tür innen mit Schimmel) und einem Spülbecken sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Nach der Buchung teilte die Besitzerin per Mail mit, dass der Pool ab 01.09. geschlossen ist. Sie war auch nicht bereit, ihn für uns noch eine Woche länger offen zu halten. Da half es 4 Tage vor der Anreise auch nicht, dass sie uns eine Stornierung anbot. Davon, dass der Pool nur bis Ende August benutzbar ist, stand in der Beschreibung kein Wort. Dass man „wegen Corona“ seine Bettwäsche und Handtücher selbst mitbringen musste, fiel schon gar nicht mehr ins Gewicht.

Ruhige und zentrale Lage

Die ehemalige Ölmühle befindet sich im Zentrum des Dorfes ist trotzdem ruhig gelegen und ist mit einem traumhaften Garten mit Pool ausgestattet. Die Apartments sind einfach,aber zweckmäßig, ausgestattet und sauber. Der Kontakt mit Paola, der Vermieterin, war sehr freundlich und angenehm, sie hatte auch einige Empfehlungen für Restaurants, die man unbedingt ausprobieren sollte. Die Einfahrt zu den Parkplätzen auf dem Grundstück ist sehr eng und nicht für alle PKWS geeignet. Einige Restaurants sind fußläufig in 15 Minuten zuerreichen, bis zum Strand sind es ca.5km. Wir haben dort einen sehr schönen und ruhigen Urlaub verbracht und den nächsten Toskana Aufenthalt wieder dort verbringen

Gelungener Urlaub

Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand und auch in den Städten Lucca und Pisa ist man in ca. 30 Minuten. Das Gebäude ist wie beschrieben sehr alt und strahlt ein dementsprechendes Flair aus. Das Mobilar wirkt leider etwas zusammengewürfelt und hätte bequemer sein können. Die Räume waren leider auch etwas feucht. Der Garten und der Pool haben uns sehr gefallen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Séjour décevant à cause des moustiques

La localisation, l'endroit, rien à redire. Que de beaux endroits à visiter. Maison et cadre ancien et typique. Par contre, la location n'était pas très propre et était très sombre (ampoules économiques d'un autre temps) Comme la propriétaire arrose tous les jours son énorme jardin, magnifique par ailleurs, il y a une prolifération de mini moustiques absolument épouvantable, il est impossible de rester longtemps à la piscine ou sur la terrasse (qui par ailleurs n'est pas éclairée le soir) Une rénovation de la piscine s'impose aussi. C'est dommage car la propriétaire est sympa.

Eine blühende Oase zum wohlfühlen

Freundlicher Empfang durch Paola, die uns auch später jederzeit unterstützt hat. Rustikal, aber sauber und bequem. Der blühende Garten mit dem Olivenhein sind eine Wucht. Der Pool ist gleich am Olivenhein und sauber. Liegen sind genügend vorhanden. Kleiner Laden, Bäcker, Bar und nächstes Restaurant im Umkreis von 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß. Weitere Restaurants in 5 bis 20 Minuten erreichbar (Tip: Ostreria a`Pagliai). Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Einfahrt und der (überdachte) Parkplatz waren für unseren Van etwas eng. Schon beim reinfahren am Tor 2 x rangieren. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Tolle Lage

Wir haben uns in den 10 Tagen sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt im Voraus mit Paola war absolut unkompliziert und sehr zügig. Es erfolgt dann auch erst eine längere Einführung in die Regeln des Hauses und vor allem des Gartens. Aber es ist alles verständlich und klar. Besonders genossen haben wir den Pool. Sehr praktisch sind die überdachten und damit schattigen Parkplätze auf dem Gelände (Achtung, mit einer Dachbox kann man dort nicht parken, wir haben sie daher abmontiert). Die Wohnung war sauber und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Wie man schon auf den Bildern sieht, ist es etwas dunkel, aber dadurch auch bei großer Hitze angenehm kühl. Insgesamt ist alles (vom Bad über Betten usw.) schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Zu jeder Wohnung gehört ein eigener Terassenbereich. Es gibt außerdem einen großen überdachten Essbereich im Schatten. Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall einen guten Mückenschutz. Wir sind leider etwas aufgefressen worden. ;) Alles in allem aber sehr positiv und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderbar!

Wunderschöner Ort um ruhige Ferien zu verbringen. Wir genossen 2 Wochen (mit Kind) in dieser herrlichen Umgebung. Die ganze grüne Anlage wird jeden Tag gepflegt. Sehr schöner, grosser Pool, Liegestühle, schattige Plätze unter Olivenbäumen. Die Anlage ist nur mit Schlüssel und Toröffner zu betreten. Ideal gelegen, mit Auto: 10 Minuten bis zum Strand, 10 Minuten bis Pietrasanta, 15 Minuten bis Massa, 35 Minuten bis Lucca, 5 Minuten bis Supermarkt Zu Fuss: 3 Minuten bis Bäckerei, 1 Minute bis kleinem Einkaufsladen mit dem Nötigsten, Bar und Pizzeria um die Ecke Im Sommer Insektenschutz nicht vergessen! Die Hausbesitzer wohnen am selben Ort, sind jedoch sehr diskret. Bei Fragen und Problemen kann man sich jederzeit an Paola wenden, welche gerne weiterhilft. Wir kommen wieder! Grazie per tutti Paola!

wunderschöne Anlage nah am Meer

Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche im paradiesischen Garten dieser Anlage. Die Appartements sind großzügig angelegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das einzige, was nicht so gut funktioniert hat, War das wifi. Der Pool ist stets sauber und auch die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Trotzdem herrscht eine ganz ungezwungene Atmosphäre, was nicht zuletzt der Vermieterin Paola zu verdanken ist, die stets gute Tips geben kann. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub.
