Stunning Villa - Open Plan & Heated 8m Pool
Casa Gemela is a stunning Villa that has been completely remodelled and recently re-furnished to an extremely high standard. This 3 bedroom Villa, with room to sleep up to 7 people and an 8m heated outdoor pool, is situated on the upmarket Mar Menor Golf Resort in the Murcia Region of Spain. Casa Gemela is located alongside the 5th Hole of the Jack Nicklaus Designed, Mar Menor Golf Course and only a five minute walk from all the facilities of the Five Star Caliea Hotel.
On entering the Villa, to the left there is a lounge and TV area, with a brand new L-shaped corner sofa and coffee table. There is a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV & Sonos surround sound system , which provides access for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and a full range of terrestrial channels. WiFi is available throughout the villa and the pool area. The recently renovated Kitchen which looks out onto the pool, has changed beyond all recognition and is fully fitted out with Bosch appliances & these include: oven, integrated microwave, induction hob, cooker hood, dishwasher and washing machine. We have also now installed a water filter on the cold tap so there is No need to buy any single use plastic water bottles. There is a large dinning area, with a large wicker dinning table and seating for up to 8 people. This is fully enclosed with glass curtains and indoor heating, giving complete flexibility during the winter months but also having the benefit of being able to open out completely during the Summer. All the main living areas benefit from both air conditioning for the Summer and central heating for the Winter months.
Outside there is a private large patio area, with a 8m salt water, heated pool. There is also a dinning area, with a table, 6 chairs. There is also a fully working gas BBQ, which is ideal for eating al fresco. Finally, there are 6 sun loungers ideal for basking in the sun with a cocktail.
The Master Double Bedroom is fully equipped with fitted wardrobes and a brand new modern fully fitted en-suite with a large modern double shower. The Bedroom leads out to a large terrace area, through double patio doors, which has a L-shaped corner sofa. cantilever umbrella and table with great views out onto the pool, golf course & wonderful evening sunsets. There is a hair dryer, hair straighteners and hair curler in the top draw of the integrated wardrobe.
There are a further 2 twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes.
(An additional single bed is available if required)
The main bathroom used for both twin rooms is at the end of the corridor. This is also brand new and has a double size modern shower.
All bed linen, towels and pool/beach towels are provided.
To the front of the villa there is a small patio area and an undercover car port.

Key Holder
Fay is our local Key Holder and is always available should you have any issues whilst staying in Casa Gemela. Fay will meet you on arrival to handover the keys and give you a tour of the Villa.
Amenities on Your Doorstep
On Mar Menor Golf Resort there is 24 hour Security, so you always feel safe. There are also some key facilities, including: Golf Driving Range, Golf Putting Green, Golf Shop, Gym, Club House, Communal Swimming Pool, 5 Star Spa, Hair & Beauty Salon, Children's Play Areas, WIFI zones and many communal landscaped gardens.
There are a number of restaurants including: Terra by Nomad Spanish Speciality Restaurant, Fontana Di Pietra Italian Restaurant which also offers a take away service, The Clubhouse at Mar Menor, providing all day snacks and during the Summer months converts to a Mexican Restaurant from 7pm onwards, Mizu Sushi Bar, El Olivio Steakhouse BBQ Restaurant. In Summer they also have a full entertainment program, The Clover Irish Golf Tavern, Hotel Poolside Bar with live music during July and August. If the Hotel Pool is quiet then you may be able to pay a Daily Rate, to use as a Guest. Kids Mini Disco during July, August and other school holidays. Kids Club, available daily in July and August through separate arrangement via the Hotel. Town Centre Community Pool by El Olivio Restaurant This is open between June & September & is open to everyone providing you purchase a drink from the Restaurant. They also provide Breakfasts, Lunch & Dinner, Ice Creams etc.
Full Size Spar Supermarket, open seven days a week, opening times: Monday – Saturdays including holidays from 09.00 – 21.00. Sundays from 09.00 to 15.00.
There are also a range of Supermarkets in both Los Alcazeres & Torre Pacheco (approximately 10 minutes by car) including Consum, Lidl, Mercadona & Dial a Prix
Club MMGR
Fully operated Sports Club & Gym with an onsite Cafe Bar Restaurant.
Individual Sports can be purchased on the day or Weekly Membership is available.
Situated just outside the entrance to The Mar Menor Hotel & Golf Resort is El Boulevard. Here you will find an ATM Machine at the Sabadell Bank & there is also a large selection of Restaurants and Bars, which include:
The Shamrock Lounge , this is an international Restaurant and Bar. A great place for breakfast and watching all the big Sporting Events on the screen. The Restaurant is famous for its Curries but also offers a large range of other dishes. Also provides Takeaways.
No 6 Genoa - Excellent Bistro style Restaurant
La Perla Negra (The Black Pearl) - Authentic Spanish Bar, with occasional Live Music.
Tasty Bites - An authentic Indian Restaurant, which also provides Takeaways.
Route 66 - An American Style Diner, which also covers a lot of the Football Matches on various screens.
Rental Rules/Contract
1. Smoking is not allowed at the Villa.
2. Pets are not allowed.
3. No Glasses should be used in the outside patio/pool area. Plastic glasses can be found in a separate cupboard in the kitchen. In the event of outdoor glass breakage Faye our Key Holder should be contacted immediately, this could possibly lead to a penalty due to pool draining, cleaning, etc. Faye's Details will be in your Welcome Pack.
4. The Resort quiet hours are from 11pm - 8am, can you please be mindful of the neighbours outside of these specific times.
5. Rubbish - please use the bin/recycling which is to the lefthand side of the Villa opposite Casa Gemela.
6. Swimming Pool - children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the swimming pool without adults supervision. All use of the pool must be at your own risk. The pool is cleaned weekly to maintain the high standard.
If you require the pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £100 per week. If the pool is heated please ensure the pool cover is replaced over the pool at all times when not in use.
7. Bookings/Cancelations - An initial deposit is required at the time of booking and this is deemed to be acceptance of all the rental contract. Deposits are non refundable unless the villa is rented out to there guests.
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
8. Security Deposit - A security deposit of £200 is added to each booking, this will be refunded within 48 hours once the Villa has been fully cleaned and checked.
9. Welcome Guide - A fully comprehensive Welcome Guide will be emailed to you once the initial booking has been made. This will enable you to plan your holiday in advance.
10. Air Conditioning - Please ensure that all air conditioning and fans are turned off when not in use. These facilities are very expensive to run and failure to adhere could lead to an extra charge on departure. In Winter the same applies to all the central heating/plug in radiators.

Why they chose this property
We weren't looking to move from our previous Villa but as soon as we saw Casa Gemela we wanted to buy it. It is similar in style to many other Villa's on the resort but was lovingly extended & updated by the previous owners who also incidentally have moved to a bigger property on the resort.
What makes this property unique
The facilities at the Villa are extensive:
A 8m Heated Salt Water Pool - these pools are much more environmentally friendly and much better for your skin than chlorine pools.
