Luxury Villa in Central Location on 5* Mar Menor Golf Resort

Villa Aguila is a stylish family villa on the gated 5* Mar Menor Golf Resort.

Having just completed another very busy year of renting we are delighted that guests have already re-booked for 2026 and are enquiring for 2027. Our 2027 calendar is now open. The villa is perfectly located close to all amenities required for a perfect family holiday. Close enough to walk to a selection of bars, restaurants (8 minutes) and the superb Ona 5* Spa & Hotel complex (4 minutes) but far enough away not to be disturbed.

The south-east facing pool and large sun terrace areas are perfect to top up your tan during the day, enjoying sun from sunrise to early evening. There are 6 sunbeds and plenty of additional seating. The pool can be heated (additional charge) allowing you to swim any month of the year!!! We have just had a full pool renovation including the build of a tanning ledge to help cool off in the year round sunshine.

Adjacent to the kitchen is an outside dining area including a traditional Spanish BBQ and dining table with seating for 6. This area catches the morning, afternoon and evening sun so an umbrella is provided to offer shade. Great place for a morning coffee or evening alfresco dining.

There is a separate alcove seating area with lounge furniture. The pool features a remote controlled lighting system with colour & speed functions You really will enjoy just staying in!!!

Villa Aguila features a large en-suite master bedroom, the newly renovated for 2025 en-suite features a walk-in shower. There are two further double/twin bedrooms served by an additional modern shower room/WC. All bedrooms have full air-con, remote control ceiling fans, large double fitted wardrobes, dressing table with mirror with additional storage space and hairdryers in each bedroom. Hand, bath and pool towels are provided. For those with toddlers, a cot can be provided (small additional charge)

There is a newly refurbished large upstairs south-east facing sun terrace where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise. The terrace features seating, additional sun beds and superb views over the golf course. Plenty of space for a large family or three couples.

The living area features a modern kitchen with LED lighting, induction hob and electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, cordless Dyson hoover, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. The kitchen also enjoys wonderful views over the golf course and pool area.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a large sun room with dining room seating for 6 and additional seating to relax overlooking the pool/patio area. With the patio doors opened up the sun room can provide additional "outside" space to chill day time or in the evening. A high chair can be provided, free of charge.

The separate living room features a reclining 3 seat and 2 seat sofas with TV area. The TV service includes a comprehensive list of terrestrial and cable channels including most Sky channels, BT Sport, and EVERY Premier League and many European games live. There is also a selection of over 24,000 FREE films!!! Apple TV is also available and for music just Bluetooth your PC or Smartphone to the Bose portable speaker.

The Villa has free WiFi and Alexa will be on hand to listen to your requests throughout your stay. There is a selection of cards, games and novels to help you relax. There is an additional ground floor WC that serves the downstairs areas and an outside pool shower.

Villa Aguila also provides the perfect base for your annual golf trip. With 15+ courses less than 30 minutes drive away and the resort course 1st Tee, a walk away, you will have everything you need close by. If there is more than six of you on the trip we can help arrange accommodation for your colleagues in neighbouring rental properties so you can all stay nearby.

The villa has superb views to the rear over the 6th green, but is far enough from the green not to attract golf balls or for golfers to disturb your relaxation in and around the pool area. There are also views over the 18th fairway from the front bedrooms of the property

The villa has a private drive with parking for one vehicle and there is additional free parking on the road outside the villa.

The property is managed by a British couple, John & Christine, who live on the resort. They will meet you at the Villa on arrival to show you around and answer any questions you might have during your stay.

Where possible we are flexible on the time you can get into the villa on the day of your arrival. We are mindful guests sometimes arrive earlier than the 4pm check-in time and want to unpack and enjoy the villa and resort.

Mar Menor Golf Resort (as regularly seen on TV property programmes) is a gated resort, adding additional security. Located 40 minutes from Alicante Airport and 20 minutes from Murcia Airport.

There are many amenities on the resort including an 18-hole golf course, driving range, crazy golf course, petanque area, numerous children's play areas, restaurants, bars and the impressive Ona 5* spa hotel with an outside entertainment area (summer months) and children’s club.

Club MM is a 2 minute walk from the villa. The complex includes padel, basketball and football courts, crazy golf, a large well stocked gym, heated swimming pool and sun terrace area, children’s play areas and bar/restaurant which is open from breakfast to late evening.

There are additional external bars/restaurants/hairdressers/coffee shop an 8 minute walk from the villa. Bike, car and scooter hire is also close by. A Spa supermarket (2 minute walk away) is extensively stocked at very competitive prices.

The superb non-tidal, safe beaches of the Mar Menor, Spain's largest salt water lagoon, are only 4 miles away. A 10 minute drive or short taxi ride takes you to the Los Alcazares "strip" with its many restaurants, bars and clubs. The taxi rank is outside the hotel, 3 minute walk from the villa.

Check-in is 4pm and check-out 11am. Late check-out must be pre-arranged and is charged at 50% of nightly rate at the discretion of the owner.
