The perfect location for a family seaside holiday, relaxing break or exploring the amazing Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines. It is perfect for families, with a cosy living room, a separate dining room, a kitchen and a superb sun room for those cooler days. Upstairs is an east-facing twin bedroom along with a bunk room leading to the master bedroom with king-size bed. Turnstone House is only a short walk to Gorleston’s award-winning beach, a stunning stretch of sand below a grand promenade and gardens making it ideal for families in summer, and dog walkers during the winter. It makes a great destination for a traditional bucket-and-spade outing and is not only popular with young families but surfers, windsurfers, body-boarders and kite-flyers too. An information pack is in the property which should help you further enjoy your holiday.

Gorleston-on-Sea is just south of Great Yarmouth and offers beach side cafés, pubs, restaurants, the Edwardian Pavilion theatre and a bustling high street. Turnstone House is a fantastic base from which to explore all that Norfolk has to offer. Hire a boat or take a guided boat trip on the beautiful Norfolk Broads or visit Horsey Beach where, at certain times of the year, you can see seals and their cubs. A short drive away is the medieval city of Norwich with its cathedral, castle, museums, restaurants and fine shopping. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We had a fantastic time at Turnstone house .

We had a fantastic time at Turnstone house .... with my dad being partially disabled it really helped with how much space there was downstairs..... whilst the rest of the UK had rain we sat outside in the sunshine enjoying ourselves. Wouldn't hesitate to book Turnstone house again next time we head to the east coast.

A good location , well equipped and clean house, the garden still had a few flowers out in November so would be a pretty spot to sit in during the summer. Only one gripe, some doors very heavy to open especially if you are carry a tray!

Fantastic location Gorleston on sea gorgeous.Turnstone house is a lovely place very spacious,,,,the lounge could do with new furniture we found the sofa and arm chairs very uncomfortable and looked well dated.Beds were very nice and we slept well.When we arrived there was no welcome pack, I think that would of been a nice touch to say welcome.One thing i will say is there is a lot of Cactuses around the house which was a worry with small kids about.Overall we did enjoy our stay barring the things mentioned

Wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay. We were 4 adults a teenager and one dog. Excellent location 1 min walk to a lovely beach. Good for our morning runs and dog walks. House was spotlessly clean. Felt covid safe. The house is so well equipped and feels very homely. Beds super comfy. Lovely garden enclosed. Have already recommended to my friends. Just what we all needed. A nice house, convenient in many ways.

A nice house, convenient in many ways. Bunk bedroom is internal which makes it quite hot. It would have been lovely to have some milk in fridge on arrival after long journey to make a cup of tea. And also needed more info on bin days and recycling. Excellent to be able to walk to sea - and parkrun.
