Great weekend break

It was a wonderful weekend get away. The accommodation was clean, tidy and well presented. The location was great, in less than 10 minutes, we were on the beach. The gift basket was a lovely touch. The dog was happy too.

A Great Little Cottage

Small but perfectly formed! This is a great little cottage to stay in for a holiday. It has everything that you would need wrapped up into one small little package. The beach is at the end of the road, with convenience stores nearby. Plenty to look at and see for everyone. I would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for a beach and Broads holiday with your dog

Cottage had everything we needed for our stay with a super safe garden for our small dog . So good to stay somewhere dogs are really welcome , towels, bowls and even a packet of treats supplied for them . A tasty welcome pack for us too . The cottage is a few minutes walk from a sandy beach . The Broads are a within a short drive with lots of nature walks .

Brig Cottage

The cottage is immaculate, very comfortable and so well equipped. It was warm and cosy in those cold April mornings, and then the garden room was a lovely sun trap in the afternoons. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay, making use of the plentiful games cupboard on one rainy afternoon, and then some lovely walks with the dog on the quiet beach when the sun came out. The local bakery and fish & chips shop certainly lived up to previous guests reviews! We would love to return in the not too distant future.

A week away with dogs out walking as well as getting a nervous dog to mix outside

Brig Cottage was clean and very well equipped for us, the wide sandy beach was a short walk away. The dogs enjoyed being on the sand. The only downside for us was that we were not told the attached cottage was being gutted and renovated so we had tue noise of drills and hammering which set our nervous dog off. Others may not have this problem. Overall a good break away in great cottage.

Dog friendly cottage

We really enjoyed our time in Brig cottage. It was very dog friendly and welcoming, unfortunately it rained for the first two days but we still made the most of it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review and we are delighted you had a good time at such a cosy and well equipped cottage. We are sorry you didn't consider it very good value for money. We checked the price paid and just over £700 for a sleeps 4 property at a peak time of year in a village where you can walk to the beach as well as enjoy the dog friendly pub, cafe and shops would normally be considered pretty good value for money but I do appreciate that this can be subjective.

Lovely Stay At Brig Cottage, Scratby

We enjoyed our stay at the very comfortable Brig Cottage, Scratby. The cottage is a short walk from a wide, sandy beach with great walks in both directions. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the cottage well equipped for a self-catering stay. Lots to do and see in the area e.g. National Trust properties, Cromer, Sheringham, Horsey Gap, Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Plenty of places at which to eat and drink. Great value and highly recommended.

Even better than the first two visits as the bed and sofas had been upgraded. Brig is a real home from home, a lovely comfortable cottage to spend a week. Walking distance to lovely beach as well as a few eateries. Thanks Jane for another super stay.

The best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. Throws and crate provided and my four dogs loved the garden and I knew even my beagles could not escape. Beds and linen high quality I have nothing but praise.

We had everything in the cottage we could need. The owner left treats for us, and Rikki our dog. A lovely cottage, a shame the weather wasn’t better

Brig Cottage

We loved our stay here. First of all, the cottage is spacious! We came with our 2 German Shepherd dogs and there was plenty of room to move around. The garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Highly recommend the bakery down the road. The beach is super close which makes for some lovely walks, we visited good old Yarmouth only a short drive away and also Winterton-on-sea which is super pretty. We loved Brigg cottage and would stay again!

A last minute break

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a good location for some lovely beaches. The property is tastefully decorated and furnished. We found it very comfortable. The conservatory was a lovely place to have a cuppa and read when the weather didn't allow us to use the lovely court yard garden.

Lovely cottage. Very clean. Everything catered for. Close to beach. Easy parking. The only thing is you have to have leads in to get dogs in and out of the car as parking is out the Front.
