Situated in a prominent position within the stunning Peak District National Park, Netherwood offers its guests two spacious bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, a cosy living room and a light and airy kitchen/dining room which leads onto the garden area, ideal for your morning cup of tea.

Located in the heart of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell pudding and a local weekly market, the town provides a great base to explore this fantastic area and its many attractions. Fabulous walks, trails, golfing, rock climbing and much, much more are all within easy reach. Explore the many historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon and Hardwick Hall to mention but a few. Impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s Grave in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. There is plenty to do for walkers and cyclists, with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep. Golf and fishing available nearby. Netherwood really is a superb base to enjoy all this wonderful area has to offer at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We could not have asked for more!!! Catherine and Hugh made us feel so welcome. Their accommodation is beautiful with all we needed and more. It is spotless, homely and cosy, with so many thoughtful extras, dvds, books etc, as well as guides to the local area. An absolute gem, close to pubs, restaurants beautiful shops, etc. We had th Best Time! Thank you Catherine and Hugh.

Amazing accomodation

Netherwood is a fabulous apartment situated within a very short walking distance of all Bakewell has to offer. The owners have gone over and above the norm to provide an exceptionally clean well equipped apartment. Lots of little additional touches to make your stay more comfortable. Very dog friendly with outside hosing down area, towels and treats. Thank you. We hope to return.

Netherwood was an excellent holiday home.

Netherwood was an excellent holiday home. The owners attention to detail was amazing with little extras provided which were above and beyond expectations. We were 3 adults with 2 small dogs who had every comfort in their own gated area with an immediate access to an outside garden. A lovely park, by the river was just across the road and a few minutes walk took you into town with plenty of shops and restaurants. We had a great stay at Netherwood.

We had a great stay at Netherwood. Particularly reassured by the extra lengths to deep clean the house due to Covid-19. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house was equipped with everything we needed. It's very close to the centre of Bakewell and beautiful countryside. Would definitely recommend.
