The cottage is really lovely and spotlessly clean.

The cottage is really lovely and spotlessly clean. The owner is friendly and extremely helpful. The bed is huge and very comfortable. It has a good shower and instant hot water. There was everything we needed. Parking was good but we did only use the car twice during the week and were able to park on our return. The cottage is only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell making it perfect for eating out and take aways and there are lots of great walks straight from the cottage if you don't want to use your car plus excellent spot to explore more of the district. The only negative thing is the road it is on is very busy and very noisy. Maybe we found this a problem as we live in an extremely quite cul de sac with no traffic at all, and this is the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5. So apart from that, many thanks, we had a lovely stay in this lovely cottage.
