We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was just right for the two of us. We were happy with every aspect of the accommodation inc its location which was convenient for the town centre.Only one thing in the description i noticed was it said a super king size bed. We have one of those and the one here is not a super king but a king size. Not a problem though. It was a great few days overall.Thank you.

Rock Terrace View is in a great position with views over the town and surrounding hills.
Rock Terrace View is in a great position with views over the town and surrounding hills. We found it warm and comfortable with most of the essentials we needed apart from a can opener. There were quite a few cobwebs especially in the corner of the lounge but other then that it was clean. There are lots of walks from the door and Bakewell is a good base if you rely on public transport as we do. We would recommend and would return ourselves. Just a suggestion, it would be a good idea to use mattress and pillow protectors.

We stay in Bakewell reguarly but this was the first time in this cottage.
We stay in Bakewell reguarly but this was the first time in this cottage. Overall the cottage is lovely with quite a few quirks that add character. Everything was good on arrival, except we could not find the parking permit. Eventually we found it in the post box. Even though we stayed over the summer holidays, permit parking was widely available and we didn't have any issues. The location is great, 5 mins walk into town. Following on from other reviews, the owners have made some improvements. Cleaning supplies (washing up liquid etc) was available. Only things missing were dishwasher tablets and oven gloves would have been handy too. The bedroom is very spacious with ample storage. The kitchen was nice with lovely views although it is a tight space. Living room was nice too. Bathroom is 'classic' and probably could do with updating. Only other things to mention is the garden area which is a bench next to the bin storage and WIFI was pretty poor.I don't want to be too negative as we had a great week, but in all honesty, we probably wouldn't stay there again.
