Pentewan is an attractive and modern holiday home, furnished to a high standard throughout; the front-facing rooms boast panoramic windows allowing one to admire the truly sensational views. Head out to the large raised sun-deck at the front, to soak in some of the best views of the famous Polzeath beach whilst enjoying the Cornish sunshine. Inside, the decor is modern yet cosy with colourful accents and contemporary furniture.

The large open-plan area consists of a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook up a delicious home-made meal; which can be enjoyed around the dining table or out on the stunning sun deck. The sitting area is the perfect place to curl up and relax while soaking in the stunning views of Polzeath beach. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a cloakroom with wash basin and WC. A cosy double bedroom is also located on the ground floor.

The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor; a plush double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two comfortable twin bedrooms, each with two single beds and are both serviced by the family bathroom.

Within walking distance you have acres of golden sand at the family friendly Daymer Bay as well as the wonderful surfing beach of Polzeath; here there are two surf schools who also offer equipment hire, several lively cafes, intimate restaurants and a selection of shops; a truly beautiful location. Also nearby is the water sports haven of Rock where you can try your hand at sailing and water-skiing, or head over to the famous St Enodoc golf course to perfect your swing. Just a short ride away is the popular fishing port of Padstow, where there are many excellent restaurants and boutique shops.

We had a lovely time staying in Pentewan which is a beautiful house with amazing views over Polzeath. The house was well kitted out and spacious and comfortable. We would recommend it to everyone.

Fabulous house and location!

The house is in a perfect location for us to not have to use the car daily! Great coastal walks from the door to Rock and Daymer Bay Perfect evening deck for eating and relaxing area to enjoy the view and watch the stunning sunsets.

A wonderful property.

Location excellent, house is great, only one criticism and it is minor is the lack of a decent pair of oven gloves, the dopey little silicone rubber things that ere their are worse then useless when moving a hot pan from the oven across the kitchen to the worktop. Just about the only thing I could get annoyed at! I saw in the visitor book various suggestions about a shower down in the large utility room, and I agree that this would be a beneficial addition to an otherwise lovely house. Beyond this, your "instruction leaflet" refers to council waste collections on a Tuesday morning, I dutifully put the rubbish out on Monday evening which was ignored as the wheelie bin is not a council bin and there is no timetable for the bin collections. The same leaflet also refers to the bottle-bank by the public toilets in Polzeath which apparently are removed out of season.

Amazing locations!

We enjoyed a half-term holiday in Pentewen and had a fantastic time. The house is situated in the most amazing location and you have everything that you need. The hosts had kindly also provided essentials such as milk to get you going.

Unfortunately the previous people refused to the vacate the property on time, and didn't leave until the Saturday.After travelling 400 miles this was very upsetting, and we were very stressed. The staff we extremely helpful, but I feel that should have demanded that they leave, we were paying for them to stay in our property. this ruined the start of our holiday. I'm not sure how to prevent this happening. wonderful view,. The house is getting a bit tired, new double beds are needed and the sofa bottom has completely gone.

Disappointed. 5/6 visit.

We love and have taken Pentewan for 5-6 years. We have asked for a downstairs shower and chairs for the dining table. Not benches. We were disappointed due to the run down state. It's tired. But most disappointing was that it was not clean. Usually it is brilliantly clean. Why?? Also fridge needs to be replaced please. We return for second visit in September and hope for a little improvement. Thank you.

A great place to stay

Fabulous views from a great location. Pentewan has a warm homely feeling, and our two young children loved playing pirate ships on the decking. You're also right on the coastal path, so going for a good run each morning was great. The only negative we had was that the sofa springs have gone, so not particularly comfortable, but that is being overly critical of an amazing home!! All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Pentewan and can't wait to book it again. Thank you so much!!!
