## Neighborhood

Located in the peaceful area of Montinhos da Luz, the centre of Luz with all its shops, restaurants and facilities is just a stroll away. The historic centre of Lagos and award-winning golf courses are just a short drive away!

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

There is a bus stop nearby the quinta from where you can travel to Lagos. You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Ruhige Lage, tolle Anlage, gemütliche Wohnung bei der es an nichts fehlt

Die Einfahrt durch das Tor und der Check-in verliefen trotz später Stunde reibungslos. Die Informationen die wir vor und während des gesamten Aufenthaltes von Karolina erhielten, waren selbsterklärend und auf jede Frage hatte sie uns schnell geantwortet. Die Wohnung und das gesamte Gelände inkl. des Pools waren sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war ausreichend, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen und zu trocknen sind super! Tolle Hand- und Badetücher, bequemes Bett, stylisch eingerichet, große Dusche, schnell warmes Wasser, guter Wasserdruck... wir kommen bei nächster Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung ist wie auf der Website beschrieben. Bei der Lage braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die Bereiche für die Allgemeinheit (Grillplatz, Pool, usw.) sind gepflegt und einladend. Wir hatten das Appartment 2, welches für zwei Personen perfekt ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Quinta da Liberdade

Das Studio ist etwas dunkel (sieht auf den Bildern heller aus!) und bekommt leider wenig Sonne. Es ist daher an kühleren oder windigen Tagen eher ungemütlich auf der Terrasse. Allgemein ist die Unterkunft sauber und funktional. Toll wäre, wenn es ein bisschen mehr Geschirr gäbe, sodass man nicht ständig spülen muss. Ein kleines Gastgeschenk erwartet die Besucher, was ein nettes Willkommen ist. Die Atmosphäre auf dem Grundstück ist angenehm (Pool, Pflanzen, Liegen) und ein bisschen wie zuhause.

Alles entspannt und super

Alles lief perfekt, einfach und schnell. Die Leute vor Ort waren super nett und entspannte Menschen. Die Quinta war super! Das Studio war simpel gestalten aber genügend für einen Urlaub. Für Leute die eher viel Unterwegs sind im Urlaub und weniger Zeit in der Unterkunft verbringen ist die perfekt! Auf jeden Fall ist der Aufenthalt zu empfehlen!

A very comfortable place close to the beach!

I had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Liberdade! in addition to the warm welcome from Viv and Niels, the studio was equipped with all comforts. The rugged coastline is within walking distance and several beautiful beaches in the immediate area. I'm definitely coming back here!

Maravillosa Quinta en el corazón del Algavr

A pocos metros del bonito pueblo costero de Luz se encuentra esta preciosa Quinta que está dispuesta para ofrecer todo tipo de comodidades a sus huéspedes. Tanto sus anfitriones como sus ayudantes hacen que la estancia sea perfecta. Sin duda volveremos a disfrutar de unas nuevas vacaciones en la Quinta da Liberdade.

Studio #2 is perfect for two people! Super clean, simple, and comfortable. It’s like a tiny home :) It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to little stores, food, and the beach. If wanting to adventure out, Lagos and Luz is also a 15-20 minute DRIVE. The house is just a perfect location and I would go back. I loved the young couple that was looking after the house. They were helpful! They seemed like hard workers because they were always cleaning and doing yard work around the house. I thought they were the owners because the were the first ones to welcome us and show us around. We met the actual owners (just the wife) when my friend and I were packing up to leave. She seemed nice!!
