Across the back garden is additional accommodation ‘The Studio'. There's also seating at the front of the house on the quayside.

The Studio:

Located on the far side of the back garden is the additional studio accommodation containing a twin en-suite bedroom with a shower as well as its own lounge with two sofas and a TV. Bi-fold doors lead onto a decking area.

During low season, discounts may be possible and the studio locked up if not required.

Nearby:

The village pub The Ferry Boat Inn is less than 100m on the quayside you will also find The Anchorstone Cafe as well as ferries to Greenway and Dartmouth. During peak season (May, June, July, and August) we need to keep to Friday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if at all possible.

Outside peak season, we can be more flexible and don't need to keep to a Friday changeover.

Lovely house
Stunning house in superb location. Parking is difficult with a steep walk to the car park. For peace and tranquility this house couldn’t get any better with the harbour ideal for padddle boarding

Very average
I will review as per my ratings. We had to wash eveything in the kitchen before use as it was filthy. Only 2 tea towels for a week? Rest of property generally clean but cobwebs and dust everywhere hence score of 3. Beds comfortable but sofas not. All linen and towels are obviously commercial contract. General condition of property is average certainly not in the luxury market but the price is, so not value for money. Location is fantastic and you would struggle to get better. Overall i would not stay in Dittisham again. The local pub is crap and all it serves is pizza and only 5 days a week. Its a bit clicky and some of the locals are a bit rude. However walk up to the red lion and you will get decent food and the people are lovely. The major issue is this being advertised as dog freindly. Its not. The owners are dilusional if they think it is. Dogs are aloud on the ground floor only which is just an empty room. You then wonder how you let the dogs in the garden as its off the kitchen on 2nd floor. Well you dont because dogs are not allowed in the garden. They expect you to go and find a bit of countryside everytime your dog wants a pee which impossible if the tide is in. Absolutely ridiculous. This is not made clear on the website. I will also make clear Dart valley were good and everyone i spoke to very helpful and polite.

Our favourite spot
This is our fifth visit to Dittisham and Dunedin Cottage is the perfect base from which to watch the kids paddleboard (thanks to Lee @ Dittisham Boats) or sail (thanks to Kate @ Marshall Sailing). Lunch at the Anchorstone as delicious as always and other refreshments from the FBI. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped and the downstairs wet room a real bonus. We couldn’t love it more! Slightly gutted that it is already fully booked next summer!!!
