Private/Detached house on the waterfront with south-facing slope and 150m of rocky foreshore. The house is overlooking and within 2 minutes walk of Tralispean Beach. There are panoramic views of the sheltered bay below with the Atlantic Ocean beyond. 3 Bedrooms (2 Double, 1 Bunk Room), Bathroom (with bath and shower) Kitchen/Dining room/Living room. The living area has a wood-burning stove and oak floors throughout.
10 minutes drive to the thriving market town of Skibbereen & within easy reach of Lough Hyne & Baltimore and the islands in Roaringwater Bay.

Belated thanks for a glorious week at your beautiful bungalow in Tralispean. Despite the weather, we swam and explored - had fab shiatsu in a yoga pod at Liss Ard estate and sauna swim at Tragumna and night kayak at Lough Hyne to see the sparkly phosphorescence. And on the last evening whales in front of your house!

Lovely, Peaceful

Our stay was excellent, plenty of walking, the people are so friendly, go for a meal at the Skibbereen Eagle, only a 30 minute walk, helps to burn off the calories on the way back!Try the farmers market on a Saturday, a must for a breakfast, local meats and local cheeses.If going to Baltimore, then the Baltimore Sea Safari is a must. A wonderful experience.Just explore the area, enjoy the nature in the wildlife and the scenery.

Haven by the sea!

If you want to get away for peace, quiet and relaxation, this home should be at the top of your list! Secluded with stunning views, but close enough to a town with great restaurants, shops and groceries. Our favorite was The Church Restaurant. Beautiful stained glass and delicious food. Mary the house caretaker greeted us and made us feel like family and the owner was very responsive. We travel to Ireland yearly to discover new parts of the country and were very happy we chose this place as our home this trip!!

Beautiful home with gorgeous hillsides and lovely ocean vistas!!!

This is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful location with vistas of the ocean and hillsides from the gorgeous house windows and the property. Lovely tropical and local vegetation surround the house. Plants such as roses, gorse and heather are rambling down the hillsides to the bay. We heard and saw seals out on the rockery our first days there. The house has everything you need and is located close to Skibbereen which offers many options for shopping, cappuccino spots and restaurants. This was a great location for our exploring western Ireland. Keith and Mary were extremely helpful with information and suggestions. The internet connection is strong, consistent and reliable. This was great for us as our phones were not working well in Ireland (we are from the States). This is a very quiet home and solidly built. We had a good tropical storm our last few days there and the internet and electrical power stayed strong throughout it. Thanks, Keith, for sharing your lovely home!

A wonderful hideaway!

Die Lage der Liegenschaft ist einmalig. Der Blick über das Wasser des Atlantiks und die grüne Landschaft einfach ein Genuss und Erholung pur. Im Haus selbst ist alles Nötige für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt vorhanden und bestens einge- richtet.

Ein ruhiger Ort zum Erholen

Das Herausragende an diesem Haus ist sicherlich die Aussicht, sogar vom Wohnzimmerfenster aus. Aber auch alles andere passt für einen ruhigen entspannten Urlaub, egal ob bei Sonnenschein oder Regenwetter. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Strand ist wirklich nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl gefühlt.

Besser geht es kaum in West Cork

Ein wirklich sehr schönes einsames Haus in absolut perfekter Lage mit einer atemberaubender Aussicht. Auch die Umgebung mit Mizen Head, Sheeps Head etc. ist einfach traumhaft. In Skibereen bekommt man alles was man braucht. Besser geht es wohl kaum in West Cork!

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Ein sehr schönes , bequemes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit tollem Blick in spektakulärer Umgebung. Gut ausgestattet. Großes gepflegtes Grundstück mit eigenem , freigeschnittenen Pfad zum Meer. Liebevolle Betreuung durch Mary, der Housekeeperin. Zwei sehr schöne Schlafzimmer nach Westen, das dritte Schlafzimmer nach Osten (Kinderzimmer) war nicht so schön und hat in unseren Augen noch Verbesserungspotential.

Mooie lokatie en uitzicht vanuit de woning. Wij troffen de woning niet schoongemaakt aan. Enige aandacht voor onderhoud zou gewenst zijn. Verder super rustige omgeving en vriendelijke housekeeper.

This is a fabulous house and we really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you can possibly need and is located close to Skibereen which offers great choices for eating out. Herrlich!

ein geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ausgezeichneter Lage. Es war alles da, was man braucht und die freundliche Betreuung von Mary war toll. Wir waren mit 6 Personen (Großeltern, Eltern und 2 Kinder 7+1 Jahr) total begeistert. Sehr schön auch der nahe Strand (2 min. zu Fuß)

Lage, Lage, Lage!

Super Lage direkt am Meer, unterhaltsame Zufahrt von Skibbereen ;-) Schöne Einrichtung, bequeme Betten, gute Dusche, tolle Ausstattung der Küche. Würden sofort wieder hinfahren! Nicht vergessen in Skibbereen im Church Restaurant essen zu gehen.
