In our cottage you will experience West Cork close. You are surrounded by the fascinating nature around you the sea and varied landscape. The coastline is stunning cliffs, small sandy beaches that invite to bathe (Suns), ruins of past times and everywhere the typical West Cork blossoms of gorse, fuchsias, Monbretien and many other plants. Hikers on the coast of Tragumna to Castel Townshend, experienced certainly one of the most beautiful coastlines of the entire country, of any comparison with the Ring of Kerry or other more famous shores must. Here indeed go no tourist buses, here you are with nature alone. Again and again you encounter the magic of the Celts: Drombeg Stone Circle, Fort Knock Drum, Three Fingers are just three examples bring to life the past.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Both the host and the housekeeper were really nice to deal with and very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cosy cottage by the sea. Waking up every morning to the beautiful view was just the best.The kitchen was well organised and stocked with pantry staples, the beds were very comfortable and we have no complaints or concerns to report. The location is fantastic, close to so many incredible places.We would recommend 110%

Ideal getaway in cozy cottage!

Lovely cottage with an AMAZING view that was ideal for our family of 4 for the week. The entire process is seamless - owner responds quickly to queries prior to our arrival and the caretaker was so nice and made herself available if we needed anything...we hope to come again!

Great spot by the sea for a small family

It was in fact more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe. Lovely big back garden too for our daughter to run around in when we were not down at the beach. Housekeeper Siobhan was very helpful and informative Would definitely stay again

Cottage at Tragumna

Very nice cottage is picturesque location overlooking the water. About 75' from Skibbereen Eagle pub and a short walk to a nice beach. I had almost no mobile service which wasn't a bad thing. Would certainly stay again.

Thanks Nick for your lovely review. One detail: the local web is 3ie, so if you are not able to use it by roaming like Germans do, just buy a cheap 3ie data simcard in town and you are fine. Unfortunately there is no glass fiber in Trag so far, so we can’t provide WiFi.

We had a really enjoyable stay. Everything was just as expected and made for a great week. Also, special thanks to Siobhan who looked after us and even arranged to post us some clothing that we accidentally left behind. Highly recommended!

Lovely break

Small traditional style cottage, with amazing views, secure back garden and front yard which is important with small kids. Great location with beach just down the road. However mattresses are old and need to be changed, very uncomfortable.

Cozy cottage with great access to the south end of Ireland

We spent 9 nights in the cottage making daily road trips to different parts of southern Ireland. The Host, Ursula and the caretaker, Siaphon were absolutely wonderful. Both very kind and personable with lots of tips on where to go for the best sights etc. It's located right on the water with a beautiful view. Everything we needed was there and the Pub next door was quiet and had nightly activities that involved the community. The food there was also amazing. I only wish we had more time to stay. We have no regrets or complaints about our experience.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in dem Örtchen. Vor 2 1/2 Jahren waren wir im Nachbar-Cottage. Auch dieses Mal hatten wir wieder einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Bett macht leichte Geräusche, das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Lage des Cottage mit direktem Blick auf den Atlantik ist gigantisch.In der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele und abends kann man ein Guiness in dem gemütlichen, benachbarten Pub genießen.Die Gastgeberin und auch die Betreuung vor Ort waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben bei Fragen schnell geantwortet.

Die Lage ist das Highlight! Aber auch das kleine Cottage bietet alles, was man für ein paar entspannte Tage braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Lorch ist unkompliziert und Siobhàn, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist super nett und immer erreichbar.

Eenvoudig maar compleet ingericht vakantiehuis, met mooi uitzicht op de baai van Tragumna. Goede bedden en geen geluidsoverlast van de naastgelegen pub - de Skibbereen Eagle. De verroeste kookplaten en doorgezeten bankjes zijn aan vervanging toe. In de advertentie staat dat er internet is, maar dat blijkt niet het geval te zijn. De huurder is aangewezen op de eigen dataverbinding. Siobhan is een hartelijke en behulpzame beheerster.

Hervorragende Sicht auf die Bucht.

Ein uriges Cottage. Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Super Lage am Meer. Ein gemütlicher Pub in der Nähe. Eine schöne abwechslungsreiche Küste sowohl in direkter Umgebung, als auch für Tagesausflüge. Einkäufe können im in der Nähe gelegenen Ort Sibbereen erledigt werden. Lecker essen kann man in schöner Atmosphäre im Restaurant "Church" in Skibbereen (Danke für den Tipp). Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und vor Ort war problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ferien am Altantik

Wir hatten einen schönen und eindrucksvollen Urlaub. Das Cottages ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die ruhige Lage und der nahe gelegene Pub haben uns sehr gut gefallen. In Skibbereen, 15 Autominuten entfernt, kann man sich mit allem was benötigt wird versorgen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zur Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war völlig unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Danke für alles, wir kommen gerne wieder!
