The villa Skylark, is a stunning villa located in Ponta do Sol, just 20 minutes west of Funchal, and 40 minutes from the airport.
It is a modern and luxurious property with an outdoor infinity pool, jacuzzi and surrounding garden with breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the wonderfully preserved 600 year old village of Ponta do Sol below.

The villa includes of 4 bedrooms, 3 located on the upper floor, and one on the living room and pool level. The upstairs master suite includes an en suite bathroom with shower and tub, the other 2 bedrooms on this floor share another full bathroom with shower and tub. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, an elegant and spacious living and dining area, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a separate BBQ area n the lower sun terrace wtih kitchenette and an additional bathroom with shower. It features free WIFI throughout, a wireless Bluetooth speaker for music, and private parking in a two-car garage. There is also a provate elevator a BBQ and a sun terrace. There is also a private elevator inside the villa that connects the garage level to both upper floors, providing easy access to all bedroom levels without the need for stairs. The whole villa is mesmerizing, providing a perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday.
The quaint village of Ponta do Sol is a short walk or drive down the hill from the villa, and is full of restuarants, bars and shops. The village has a public beach area with both a protected swimming cover and an area open to the Atlantic Ocean. the village is also very wel located on the sunny southern shore of Madeira, close to the mototways with easy access to Funchal and other parts of the island.

Great home in Madeira

The home had tremendous views and was in a great location. The elevator was a plus since someone in our group had a recent injury. MHM was also very responsive to any issues we had. We highly recommend.

Fabulous property with amazing sea views

This is a fantastic property. Very spacious with great outdoor space and private swimming pool. The views over the sea are amazing. The kitchen is probably the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in with everything you need. Communication with the host was excellent. We received a very warm welcome and certainly felt we could reach out with any questions.

A wonderful stay

Villa Skylark was just perfect. We were 4 ladies looking for an escape from the English winter. The weather was wonderful, the accommodation surpasses the photographs, the kitchen is well equipped. There was a small problem with the hall lights going off automatically which I am sure is easily resolved. Thank you to all the team. The dishwasher could do with replacement. One of the wheels on the lower basket is missing which made loading and unloading very difficult.

Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort laufen. Größe und Ausstattung des Hauses sehr gut. Es sind inzwischen deutliche Abnutzungsspuren zu finden. Das Ein oder Andere müsste erneuert werden.

Great villa in beautiful location. Steep hill but you quickly get used to it. We didn’t hire a car but it may have been useful. Visited the waterpark in Funchal and went on the cable cars - both worth a visit.

An outstanding villa with remarkable views and facilities

The location, views, facilities were all top notch. The kitchen was well equipped, there was more than enough storage in every room. Pool, tub, loungers, out door seating and a lower level with a kitchen and indoor BBQ. Penney of lighting indoors and out, with lots of control. The home automation sometimes needs a full reset. In the kitchen, a wok would be great, some smaller serving dishes likewise. The automatic light in the hall was a bit sensitive. Overall, though, we were delighted with the facilities.
