During whale season, January through April, you can see whales breaching from the sandy shores of Sugar Beach and keep a close eye out for turtles too. Plant your chair in the sand or take a long stroll along the beach. No matter what time of year, it's hard to beat seeing the sunrise or sunset at Sugar Beach.
The property is just a short 5 minute beach walk to a farmer's market with local island fruits and vegetables or 10 minute walk to Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge.
At any time of year, you can spot turtles or even dolphins out front. If you need any gear to snorkel or paddle out on the water it's as easy as visiting Maui Sights and Treasures located on property for rental equipment.
