With the look of a Swiss Ski Lodge, Sea Salt Lodge is a beautiful individual detached three bedroom home set on 3 Mezzanine floors.. All on the Ground Floor:

Separate Toilet.. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. External games room with pool table, Freeview TV, bluetooth jukebox and dartboard.Garden with astro turf, decked area, summerhouse, patio, heater and gas barbecue. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden. There are open-tread stairs in the property.. Decorated throughout in a nautical style to enhance its sea views, Sea Salt Lodge sits high up on the site of the former Waldon Castle and yet is within easy walking distance of the seafront, town and harbour. You may even notice part of a former wall and turret of the Castle when you sit in the garden.



The wonderful living room on the first floor is filled with natural light from the patio doors that lead out onto your balcony which looks over Torquay to the sea and Marina giving you an inviting living area to relax in either indoors or out.



Three bedrooms continue the nautical theme, the large double bedroom on the ground floor has its own conservatory which leads to a delightful outside space with a summer house and two garden loungers. Next to the double bedroom is a four poster room with views over Torquay town centre. The third bedroom is a twin bedded room on the first floor which has a spectacular elevated view over Torquay town centre and beyond, next to this bedroom is a bright shower room.



To the side of the house with a separate entrance is your own games room with a scaled down pool table and dartboard (remember to bring your darts!) and you can play your music via bluetooth on the speaker style jukebox or just chill out in front of the TV. There’s even great speeds from the fibre-optic broadband throughout the house to help plan your days out.



If the inside isn’t enough, the garden is a real sun trap and wraps around the house offering you a choice of sitting areas including a large decked area with its own thatched beach retreat on it, an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the sea views.



Sea Salt Lodge is close to many local attractions like Living Coasts, Torre Abbey Sands and the Harbour, of course if you want to venture further afield, other attractions like Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth and Dartmoor are only a short drive away.

Great house for families and groups!

We stayed here for 3 weeks after relocating to the UK from across the world and loved it. It’s nicely decorated with everything you need to live comfortably. There’s plenty of room for lots of people and the outdoor space is huge. Great views and a short walk to the city and beaches.

Torquay stay

The property is ideally located for access in to Torquay sea front. There are some quite steep hills if you're walking but we used our car and the views from the house are great. Overall it was a lovely comfortable house. We would definitely stay again. Our thanks to Kate.

Sea Salt Lodge is a beautiful house.

Sea Salt Lodge is a beautiful house. It was spotless on arrival and despite Covid 19 causing some soft furnishings having to be removed it instantly looked welcoming and comfortable. We were a family of 5 ranging from 8 to 76 and everyone of us slept extremely well in such comfortable beds with luxury duvets and pillows enveloping us. The kitchen was equipped enough to allow us to cook when we wanted to. The games room gave us many hours of fun and laughter and was full of competitive spirit. We could not fault anything and had a fantastic family holiday and we would all thoroughly recommend Sea Salt Lodge. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely holiday home, with a quirky layout. Basic essentials available with lacking some other basics too but nothing to really hinder your holiday. (Bring your own oven glove) lovely little complimentary gifts to start the holiday upon arrival. Lovely courtesy call before you arrive. The views are stunning from the home. But obviously with beautiful views you are high up on the hills. Lots of steep steps down to torquay or you can take the road down which we found better with a little one. Great for a little workout. We had some lovely mornings with breakfast on the balcony. Some tlc and maintenance required to the property to keep it up to a high standard. The drive is big enough for 3 cars, however its quite tight to get on to the open drive space. Plenty of outdoor seating area. If you have little ones ensure the front gates are shut as the garden isn't secluded and is a little island around the property. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Sea salt Lodge was quite a nice place. There was a lack of basic things e.g. hoover and brush and dustpan, so we bought a dustpan and brush. Car parking was tight for 2 cars. The main bathroom looked like it could do with a steam clean especially in the corners under the bath. The electric sockets tripped when we plugged the toaster in so had to contact the owner because we couldn't access the meter box to flick the switch. We asked her to leave the key for the meter box in case it did it again but she wouldn't. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
