We really enjoyed our week at the Green House. It’s very roomy, with lots of options for congregating. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the whole house was very clean.
I highly recommend!

Good location...NO TV!!!!!
The house was clean. However, it did have a strong musty odor. There is no TV. This was not made clear in the overview! The traffic from the highway is very loud. There are 2 rooms with no furniture. The furniture that is in the living room is old and stained and not comfortable. It does have a view of the water, but nothing like the photos which were taken in the fall. The location is great for taking day trips to various areas. It is private.

Thanks for the great review.
Absolutely, we have no TV. We decided the kids needed a break from TV, so that was a decision we consciously made. However given its our first year renting we will be sure to add to the online notes that we do "not" have a TV.
All rooms have furniture, such as beds, bed side tables, bed side lights, dressers, chairs, cupboards, carpet, blinds. It has been recently renovated so we don't have many pictures on the walls perhaps that may explain it?? I will look into the condition of furniture downstairs.
As for the view. The photos are taken from inside the house so they are very accurate. Maine in the fall is spectacular, so be sure to come back then!

Nice home in awesome location. Couldn't have met expectations any better.
The property is well-maintained, bright and inviting. At the top of a hill dropping gradually to water's edge, the views from the east(?) picture windows in the living room and all bedrooms is awesome.
Kitchen is nicely equipped and a recently placed gas grill completes the cooking facilities.
Three bedrooms were each very private and comfortably appointed.
The drive to and from area attractions was very relaxing and not very long.
Essential shopping (groceries, gasoline and a few local eateries) was within a 1-3 miles of the home. More sophisticated downeast dining is available within just a few miles more in the town of Blue Hill and elsewhere relatively close in the area.
We enjoyed our stay in The Green House immensely. Just wish we had had a few more days to spend there.
