The Villa is a magnificent Indian-style colonial house built in 1885, fully restored and equipped. It has 700m2 built, in a fully fenced farm of 2.5 hectares. It has a maximum capacity for up to 31 people, distributed in 10 spacious and comfortable rooms.
Outside you can enjoy a 2000m2 garden, barbecue, wood oven, pool and bathhouse.

It is 5 minutes from the beach and a little away from the town. The house offers a lot of privacy and different spaces for its guests. It is an ideal home for large families or groups, a safe and category choice.

The villa was great with everything we needed and loads of space. We enjoyed the pool and our big group of 23 all being able to dine together outside. Jaume the owner was really helpful and friendly. The track to access the villa is the only slight downside as it is quite rough. We had a great week and really enjoyed being able to walk down to the bars and restaurants at the beach.

Fantastic stay!

We spent one week in this wonderful house with a group of 23 teenagers and we loved it! Jaume (the owner) is a really nice person that helped us at any time and even drove us to the supermarket because we had no car. The villa is beautiful and has got everything you can think of (pool, ping pong table, barbecue and even a paella-maker). Plus, the surroundings are beautiful and Arenys de Mar is a very nice little town! All in all, we had a fabulous and memorable class trip! Thank you very much Jaume

Sailing Squad Team Venue

This was the most amazing property to stay at - such a beautiful building with a wealth of space and breathtaking grounds. Jaume kindly hosted us as a large Sailing Squad who were training and then competing at an International Event. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic, the space available ensured our sailing team had suitable venues for briefings and coaches but also areas to ensure we could wind down and relax after a long day on the water. Jaume couldn't have been more helpful to us, he ensured we were supported with airport transfers, local restaurants and spent many a wonderful evening with us showing us the local delicacies and entertaining our team. He really is the best host we could have asked for. Thank you so much for accommodating us - we will definitely be returning next year.

A magical family holiday – even better than we’d hoped

When our original villa cancelled just two weeks before our trip, we thought our long-awaited family holiday was ruined. Trying to find a new place that could accommodate all 21 of us and wishlist felt impossible. Then we found Villa Horta Del Pilar and it completely exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing week together and created memories in a home from home that’ll stay with us forever. A huge thank you to host Jaume who couldn’t have been more welcoming, warm or helpful. From the moment we booked, he was quick to answer our (many!) questions, and made sure everything we’d asked for was ready on arrival – including the brilliant ice-cold beer dispenser, which went down very well! He shared the fascinating history of the villa, including its beautiful hidden chapel and the wine cellar and took us to feed the horses nearby which the kids loved. The villa itself is spacious, well-equipped and perfect for large groups. The kitchen is a little on the small side, but with such a lovely outdoor dining space, we loved cooking on the bbq and dining under the festoon lights and stars. The pool is a great size, safely fenced off for peace of mind with little ones. The nearby beach is a 15 minute walk down a sandy path which made pushing buggies a bit of a challenge. That said, we were more than happy to spend our days relaxing by the pool and soaking up the views. Thank you Villa Horta del Pilar for giving us an unforgettable family holiday to talk about for years to come.

Villa Horta del Pilar ist eine sehr schöne Villa mit viel Geschichte und Jaume ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber mit einem hohen Servicelevel.Wir hatten hier als große Gruppe eine tolle Zeit! Der Außenbereich mit Outdoor-Küche, Garten, Poolhaus, großen Pool etc. ist fantastisch.Auch wenn die Villa an ein paar Stellen etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, können wir diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen.

On a passait une incroyable semaine dans cette magnifique villa spacieuse et avec toutes les commodites ! On a pu profiter de la piscine et des espaces extérieur parfaitement entretenus!Les enfants se sont régalé a tourner autour de la maison en velo.On a pu faire de nombreux barbecue et pizzas.Jaume est un hôte très à l écoute et présent comme il le faut!L accès à la plage est agréable , on se croirait dans les îles!20 min à pied.Je recommande vivement de venir séjourner dans cette maison de famille au charme incontestable!Merci encore JaumeRolandOn est venu à Arenys proche de Barcelone , la semaine où le Barca a gagné contre le réal en coupe d espagne lors d un match chaud bouillant!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable en famille. Notre hôte Jaume a été génial, et a fortement participé à rendre notre séjour agréable. La maison est parfaite pour une grande famille comme la notre. Localisée dans un endroit calme, elle est située proche de la mer (1km environ), et un train direct nous permet de rejoindre Barcelone en 45min environ. Nous espérons tous revenir un jour!

Ce fut une très belle semaine en famille. Rien ne manque dans la villa, tout le monde y a trouv son bonheur (piscine, ping pong, farniente, sieste, sorties...). Un week-end exceptionnel !

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end de retrouvailles entre amis. Jaume a été très serviable, accueillant et disponible. La maison est magnifique, très adaptée pour des grands groupes (nous etions 26 adultes et 2 bébés), la literie est top, nous avons bien profité du jardin, du barbecue, de la piscine, et même de la plage située à à peine 15-20min à pied. En familieferie for livet!

Dette smukke hus er den perfekte ramme om en ferie for en familieferie, når man er en stor familie som os. (9 søskende med forældre, børn og påhæng) Beliggenheden er perfekt i forhold til strand, nærmiljø og Barcelona! Vi oplevede både at kunne slappe af og opleve ting sammen i store og små grupper. Selvom vi var mange, loplevedes det ikke trangt eller overvældende, fordi huset byder på flere gode steder at opholde sig. Det var også muligt at trække sig på den store balkon på første sal, hvis man ønskede mere ro og færre mennesker. Jaume er den perfekte vært og det er tydeligt, at han lægger både energi og sjæl i at gøre det til en god oplevelse for alle! Han har været ekstremt behjælpelig med alt, hvad vi har haft brug for både før og under vores besøg! Huset emmer af en fantastisk atmosfære og det er svært ikke at blive forelsket i stedet! Vi holdt en fælles 50 og 40 års fødselsdag dernede og det var det perfekte sted at fejre de runde fødselsdage. Det var en magisk aften og en fantastisk ferie! Kan kun anbefale enhver der gerne vil afsted i en større familie eller venneflok om at vælge Horta Del Pilar!

This is great Villa with a huge pool. Jaume was brilliant and in constant contact with us , with any issues we had . Perfect for a large group , with lots of shady spots to hide away in the grounds . Would definitely recommend to others . A nice touch was the vegetable patch where we picked fresh tomatoes ,courgettes and aubergines . Also loved the barrel of beer connected up outside to give us on tap beer .The outdoor cooking facilities were amazing , especially the pizza oven . My only criticism would be that the indoor kitchen was tiny , but we never really cooked inside so this wasn’t an issue . Overall , a fantastic stay !

Perfect Stay!

Great accomodation which far surpassed its online listing. The range of spaces in and around the villa were perfect for us. Jaume was an incredible host and was attentive from the second we booked. He showed us everything around the villa including his growing orchard and the local animal sanctuary. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We all really hope to return in the future.

Lovely villa + great host

I really recommend this place for groups of friends, families, work outings (where fast wifi is not critical). We used the villa for a work trainings-week. It was great for it as there was plenty of space for break-outs and in the evenings we could connect with each other over a BBQ or during table tennis/volleybal. The place is ~15min walk from the beach, there are a few bars/restaurants there. It's a bit farther from the city center / supermarket, so definitely recommend to bring a car. The host, Jaume, is very helpful and friendly. He helped us with reservations for dinner and showed us the hidden chapel while sharing some nice stories about the villa :)

Excellent séjour a Horta del Pillar

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Villa Horta del Pilar. La maison et le terrain sont très grands, ce qui laisse de l'espace à chacun pour profiter. La villa est très propre à notre arrivée, très bien équipée, aussi bien à l'intérieur (cuisine, vaisselle, jeux d'intérieur, draps, etc...) qu'à l'extérieur (ping pong, bad, barbecue, four à fois, etc...). Les literies sont de bonne qualité. Salles de bains propres. Mention spéciale à Jaume, qui nous a accueilli très gentiment, nous a conseillé et à répondu à toutes nos demandes. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.
