Modern, recently built villa with swimming pool and beautiful country views close to Tavira. The property is located in Vale Formoso, a valley with green rolling hills, fields, pastures and orange grooves. The gentile hills and beautiful natural surroundings make it an ideal location for cycling, country walks and bird watching. Tavira is only a short 4 to 5 minute drive away and approx. 10 minutes by bicycle. This comfortable villa sits in the center of a fully fenced plot of land with an electronic gate and cobble stone drive way.

The nearest beach is on the island in front of Tavira. Easy access by ferry in front of our office. The atmosphere is laid back, with many small restaurants offering fresh fish 'grilled to perfection'. In addition to the blue flag beach on Tavira Island (Tavira Island), the are many alternatives nearby. One such alternative is the beach at Barrill in Santa Luzia - opposite Pedras del Rei. This beach is centrally located in the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park just 2. 2 miles (4 km) from Santa Luzia.

On the beach of Barrill, you'll find self service restaurant, hamburger house, Pizzeria / Creperie, a bar, A Boutique / handicraft shop, Nautical Club and Massage Service. If you do not like overcrowded beaches, this is the place for you. When arriving at Barrill Beach, even in high season you just walk for 500 meters either way, and you have the beach for your selves!

During the summer months there is a ferry boat from the center of town, opposite the Happy Homes office, going to Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas.

The villa

This modern villa with swimming pool is approached through electronic gates via a cobblestone drive which runs to the villa located in the middle of a large plot of land surrounded by many mature trees; some of which are centuries old.

The villa consists of a hallway with guest bathroom leading to the light and bright living room with decorative wood burner stove and double height ceiling, adjacent fully fitted and equipped large kitchen with dining area and utility room, a spacious master bedroom and a bathroom with bath / shower. The 1st floor comprises two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with walk in shower. From the entrance down to the flight of stairs you reach the 4th double bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. All bedrooms are spacious and have built-in wardrobes. Satellite system with 'free to air' TV channels in English, Portuguese and various other languages.

Access from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom on the south facing terrace with swimming pool, seating area with comfy sofa and a table and chairs for 'alfresco dinning' under the stars (you'll be surprised to see how clear the sky is at night time, there is no light pollution.

Good access by tarmac road, close to Tavira.
