Perfect location! The property was clean and comfortable. Glenys and Brian were wonderful and thoughtful host. On our next visit to the Lakes District, we would love to stay again at Glenys and Brian’s property.

The accommodation was excellent and well finished. It was the perfect base to go walking from and return to a wood burner to dry out. Kitchen is well sorted and set up and the family that look after the site are lovely and easy to contact and communicate with. we had a great time and will return.
This is a lovely apartment located right in the heart of Grasmere. It makes a lovely base for exploring the fells during the day and chilling in the evening. Glenys is a great host who was only a WhatsApp message away. It's worth pointing out that there wasn't much storage space, and the car park is bit tight.
Great appartment with a cottage feel in the middle of the Lake District
This appartment feels very much like a cottage with a feature fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher & washing machine. A dedicated parking space in the middle of Grasmere is perfect. There are plenty of walks to do straight from the property and plenty of places to eat & drink. We particularly liked the beer garden at Tweedy's Bar across the road.
Super accommodation right in the middle of Grasmere.
Apartment was clean and had everything you need.
Good parking facilities, will definitely book again as it's a great base from which to explore the lakes.
The property is in a very good location, central to Grasmere and also the Lake District. The property is small however, which isn’t clear from the photos and is on three floors. The shower is also very weak, which made this quite difficult. Overall, the stay is worth the money we paid, however I would rather pay a little more next time for a larger space.

Great stay
Excellent stay in the Scafell apartment. My husband and I stayed in between Christmas and New Year. Great location in the centre of Grasmere. Apartment was immaculate, really warm and cosy, we loved it. We used as a base for a couple of lovely walks in the Lakes. Would not hesitate to stay agan. Thank you Glenys and Brian for a great stay.

Great location with easy parking and nice accommodation
We had 3 nights staying at Scafell apartment. These apartments are located very centrally in Grasmere, with parking allocated just outside the door- ideal!
The apartment was clean, warm, with a nice kitchen and a relaxing sitting/dining area.
If you are restricted with stairs, this apartment would not be ideal as you enter onto a landing and go up a few stairs to the bedrooms or down some ( steepish) stairs to the living area ( due to the apartment entrance door being on an internal landing staircase-
unusually!)
The apartment was fine for our needs -namely a short mid-week break.

Great cottage in the heart of Grasmere
Lovely apartment within a larger cottage; one double bedroom and a room with two single beds. Unfortunately these cannot be pushed together so would more suit two children or adults who aren't a couple. Bathroom is adequate, with a good hot shower. Lots of stairs within the property so not ideal for the mobility impaired. Kitchen recently refurbished, and well stocked with utensils. Living room comfy and cosy with an extendible dining table and a wood burner, and ample sofa space. Lots of walks within the lakes start from Grasmere, and as the property is in the centre of town, this means you can set off from the front door and head right out!

Cozy and comfortable, well equipped
Scafell apartment is well located in the middle of Grasmere village which has a number of tourist shops and eating establishments mainly attached to hotels so menu prices are a little high. The apartment is cozy with log fire/stove. The well equipped kitchen is separate from main living room. The bedroom, toilet/shower room are also separate and located up stairs, the bed is very comfortable and shower is electric so plenty of hot water. It should be noted that there are a number of stairs in the apartment which are quite steep and are not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Good location
Scafell was very clean and comfortable with the bonus of a dedicated parking space. Good location in the heart of the village with many walks from the door and also very close to main bus route through the Lakes. It felt more like a cottage than an apartment as it is on 2 floors. Bedrooms were compact but had sufficient storage space and the layout of the twin room was made clear before booking. We appreciated the excellent kitchen which has recently been refurbished and contained everything we needed.
