This stunning villa with private pool sits in G.G. near Labin in Istria. It is built in the style of traditional Istria farmhouses, with terracotta tiled floors, high ceilings held up by massive wooden beams and walls made of local stone. Villa Valmont is spacious and airy house with two bedrooms. Master bedroom is located on the gallery reached by the stairs from the kitchen. Second bedroom with two single beds, shower room and WC is tucked away on the lower level. The twin bedroom can also be accessed from the back garden, through a separate door. A few steps bellow the kitchen is a living room with large LCD satellite TV & DVD. Main bathroom is located on the ground floor, which includes a large open plan kitchen-dining room offering access to the outdoor covered terrace. Outside, the terrace has dining furniture and a build in BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Istria evenings! The terrace leads into large sunbathing terrace, which feature a private, lighted (whom enjoys late night swim) swimming pool. The view is to die for, offering a spectacular combination of the eastern Istria coast, city of Pula and the southern, central and western coast.


Stunning 2 bedrooms villa Valmont with private pool is nestled on the top of Gora Glusici “G.G.”. It is only 12 km distant from charming old city Labin. You can go to the old town centre and walk along the cobbled streets visit galleries or enjoy the terraces of bars and restaurants by the main square, such as Velo Kafe with a very good pizza, meat and fish menu. You will also find the central fruit, vegetable and fish market (fresh fish every day) as well as 3 supermarkets down in centre of Labin.
The sleepy fishing village of Trget offers an excellent beach and choice of great restaurants serving up local seafood. Lively Rabac (the pearl of Kvarner Bay) is located 12 km away and offers family friendly beaches with blue flags (there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy water sports including sailing, windsurfing, paddle boats, off the water tennis, mini golf) you can spend day at see on rented boat and once you are hungry or ready to relax, there are numerous bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and boutiques for you to enjoy.

A little haven in Istria

What a wonderful week we spent in Villa Valmont during July this year. The property is set in gorgeous countryside with panoramic views. The peace and quiet is your constant companion apart from the birdsong, cicadas and fluttering of butterflies. Katarina was an excellent host. On hand if needed but respectful of our privacy. It was great to meet Romeo too! Property has everything you need, the air conditioning is a godsend, and the WiFi was strong and constant. There is more than enough kitchen equipment if you want to make meals and the shaded terrace was heavily used during the scorching week we had. The pool was very welcome given the weather and the seating areas next to the pool and the BBQ terrace provide plenty of options to either chase the sun or hide from it during the day. At night time with no light pollution the stars are bright and Milky Way visible. On Katarinas advice we used the SPAR on the outskirts of Labin and the market in Labins square in the new town. Close enough to beaches , Labin itself for coffee or drinks or indeed less than an hour to Rovinj and of course Pula places Villa Valmont close at hand to all the things you might want to do. At the end of the week we didn't want to leave and the biggest compliment we can give is that we'll be back next year. Wonderful Stay with Lovely Hosts

We had a great stay – the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place is clean, well-kept, and has everything you need. The large pool area and spacious terrace were perfect for relaxing. It’s also less than 15 minutes to plenty of shops and the beach. Highly recommended!

Erholung pur!

Absolute Ruhe in traumhafter Umgebung

Hier stimmt einfach alles, wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag. Wanderungen und Bike Touren sind direkt ab Haus möglich. Zum Einkaufen und am Meer ist man mit dem Auto auch gleich. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet. Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Katarina und Zoel sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Erholung pur

Katarina & Zoel sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb in ihrem Ferienhaus wohl gefühlt. Wer absulte Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. In keinem unserer vorherigen Unterkünfte war die Küche so gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Sogar für den Pool wurden Handtücher bereit gestellt. Wir werden nächstes Jahr unseren Urlaub wieder hier verbringen. Danke für die tolle Zeit. Manuela und Dirk mit den Jungs und unserem Hund Whisky (der sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt hat)

Wundervoller Urlaub für Ruhesuchende

Wir waren nun bereits das zweite Mal in der schönen Villa Valmont. Es war wieder wunderschön die Ruhe und den herrlichen Pool zu genießen. Bei der Ankunft begrüßte uns Zoel mit einer leckeren Käse-Schinken-Platte, Brot und Rotwein. Genau wie vor 5 Jahren haben wir nichts auszusetzen, nur eine kleine Anmerkung. Der Insektenschutz über dem Bett könnte evtl. erneuert werden. Vielleicht mit einem breiteren und robusterem Überwurf, der bis zum Boden geht. Dieses Mal hatten wir ein großes Oberbett für 2 Personen. Dies ist unvorteilhaft und war damals mit 2 Oberbetten angenehmer. Wir haben dann einfach die zwei Tagesdecken aus dem unteren Schlafzimmer genutzt. Ansonsten haben wir alles sehr genossen. Empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug nach Rovinj & Opatija. Am Abreisetag wurden wir von Katarina & Zoel mit einem lieben Geschenk sehr freundlich verabschiedet. Wir danken Euch für alles und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ! Ralf & Nicole

Istrisches Steinhaus inmitten der Natur

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Valmont war sehr schön! Wir haben 10 Tage gebucht. Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Villa war sehr sauber und absolut alleinstehend inmitten Istriens Natur. Die Kinder genossen den Pool. Auch wunderbare Strände sind innerhalb 10-15 Min. gut erreichbar, z.B. Beach Rabac oder Trget. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wer die Stille und die Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig. Im Haus war auch alles vorhanden, von Waschmittel über Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffeefilter, Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl, Spülmittel, alles war da. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Super Urlaub!

Vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag haben wir jede Minute genossen! Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten uns zu jeder Zeit an Katarina, die Vermieterin, wenden. Herzlichen Dank! Das Haus und der Garten mit dem Pool entspricht zu 100 Prozent der Beschreibung. Nicht nur wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe sowie die Umgebung genossen, sondern auch unser Hund Loui. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und nehmen jetzt erst einmal viele schöne Eindrücke mit!!!!!

Traumhaft ruhiger Urlaub in der Natur

Wir ( 2 Erwachsene, 1 Jugendlicher 17 Jahre , 1 Kind 11 Jahre und der Hund ) waren für eine Woche bei Katrina in ihrem schönen Haus ! Die Kommunikation war von Beginn der Buchung , bis zur Abreise freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir durften am Anreisetag früher einchecken und wurden mit Käse, Schinken und Wein herzlich begrüßt! Es erwartete uns ein sehr sauberes und überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattetes Haus.Sämtliche Utensilien ( von Spülertabs bis Waschmittel ist alles da) Alles ist gemütlich eingerichtet, sowie liebevoll dekoriert. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl ! Dazu die herrliche Ruhe , man ist in den Bergen , umgeben von Natur ! Der Pool ist super sauber und wird alle 3 Tage gecheckt! Es war auf unser Nachfragen für Katrina kein Problem , das wir mit Freunden ( sie hatten im Nebenort ein Ferienhaus ) bei uns am Haus grillen und einige Abende miteinander verbringen durften ! Wir haben die Zeit unglaublich genossen! Ruhe - genau das haben wir gesucht ! Sogar mit einem kleinen Geschenk wurden wir heute von Katrina verabschiedet ! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft ,du bist eine tolle Vermieterin ! Euer Haus und die Umgebung drumherum ist ein Naturparadies ! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und grüßen herzlich ! Paradise in the mountains

It was a wonderful stay. The host exceeds all expectations and is always there when you need help. Katarina takes excellent care of you. The house is beautiful and the pool is just great. The location is wonderful, but you need a vehicle for all routes. The beaches in the area (about 10-15 km away) are terrific. It's all worth repeating.

A real relaxed vacation

The location of the house is unique. It is in the mountains and you have nothing than trees and bushes as afr as you can see. The ideal remote place and still high enough to see the sea from the teraasse and close enough to be in 7 minutes in Labin. From Labin you have multiple choices for beaches - depending if you prefer more loneliness or busy beaches. We enjoyed rather the not so crowded places. The house is equipped in a way that you will miss nothing. The pool is nice - for us it was a bit late after some September storms. The communication with the host family - outstanding. Very friendly and very responsive. From the hourse you can walk to one of the wineries (45 min) - enjoyable little walk. We enjoyed wonderful vacation - our labrador dog as well … he had so much to run and explore. A place to recommend. Thank you very much to our hosts !

Kleines Paradies mit hohem Erholungsfaktor

Was für eine Oase inmitten der Natur Istriens. Es war einfach unfassbar schön. Von der ersten Sekunde konnten wir uns erholen und die Ruhe genießen. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht, ist sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet und natürlich war der Pool ein besonderes Highlight. Auch unsere Hündin Holly konnte den ganzen Tag übers Gelände schnüffeln - höchstens in Aufregung versetzt von Grillen, Feldhasen und selbst Rehe haben uns 2x besucht. Katarina war super freundlich, stets gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit - und immer für uns erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Vielen Dank liebe Katarina!!!! Wir werden defintiv wiederkommen.

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren begeistert. Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich sauber gewesen und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es liegt ruhig auf einem Berg, sodass man immer kurze Fahrwege hat, was uns aber nicht störte. Dafür hat man dort seine Ruhe und keine "Nachbarn". Die Vermieterin war super nett, hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Die Strände in der näheren Umgebung waren toll! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ruhe und Erholung pur

Wer sich im Vorfeld über die Bedingungen vor Ort informiert wird keine Überraschungen erleben. Wir können nur positives Berichten. Angefangen bei der überaus hilfsbereiten und netten Vermieterin bis hin zum komplett Ausgestatteten Unterkunft und der absolut ruhigen Umgebung. Wir haben genau das gesucht und hier gefunden. Mit Sicherheit etwas abgelegen aber doch zentral genug für Ausflüge. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und werden das Domizil garantiert in unsere nächste Urlaubsplanung mit einbeziehen. Ein ganz großer Dank gilt der Vermieterin Katharina, sie war immer ansprechbar und stand von Anfang bis Ende mit guten Tipps bezüglich Ausflügen, Essen und Einkaufen zur Verfügung. Eine sehr unkomplizierte An- und Abreise komplettierte unseren Gesamteindruck. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus ohne zu zögern jedem, der Ruhe sucht und mit der Abgeschiedenheit kein Problem hat weiterempfehlen. Fahrer von tiefer gelegten Fahrzeugen und/oder Sportwagen sollten sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass die letzten ca. 2km zum Haus über eine Schotterstasse führen.

Absoluter erholsamer Urlaub in einer sehr ruhigen und naturverbundener Lage

Wir waren mit meinen Eltern und Hund bei katarina und zoel im wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Es war unfassbar schön. Ob es die Lage, das Haus, der Pool, die Aussicht oder die Nähe zum Meer war....Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Beide waren so unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind über Nacht gefahren und waren wesentlich früher da, wie anfangs geplant und trotzdem hat man uns freudig empfangen, obwohl zoel noch am säubern des Pools war. Das Haus ist so sauber, das man vom fussboden essen könnte. Auch ist das Objekt mit Grundstück romantisch und rustikal gestaltet. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten den Urlaub sehr genießen. Auch unser Hund Balou war so happy über das riesige anwesen und konnte voller Freude jeden Tag durch die Gegend schweifen ohne das man sich als Besitzer sorgen machen musste wo er ist. Also für zweibeiner und vierbeiner ein wirklich schöner Erholungsort mit wirklich lieben Besitzern die viel Kraft und Mühe in dieses Anwesen stecken. Dieses war definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub dort. Liebe Grüße und hoffentlich bis bald

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der schon sehr abgelegenen Villa. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Am besten gefiel uns die Ruhe und der Pool. Danke auch an Katarina, die immmer ansprechbare und sehr freundliche Kontaktperson. Für Familien mit Kindern ideal.
