On a one-hectare property surrounded by dry stone walls in a dominant position, facing the listed village of Lussan, we offer an independent Mazet - 70m ² ground floor - offering two bedrooms, each with a terrace overlooking the undergrowth, garden and pool area - lovely tiled pool with counter-current system.
The house has been restored with natural materials and Attention to decor and comfort gives each room a unique character and distinctive atmosphere.
It is an ideal place for quiet holidays, children can make Real acquaintance, the mare of our daughter.
Starting directly from the property you can enjoy the many hiking trails through the guarrigue (scrubland), to' Concluses, the menhir '.... etc..
Within a 100-kilometre radius, you can also quickly explore a remarkable and diverse natural and cultural heritage:
the Gard Provence ( from Uzes, the Pont du Gard, Anduze, to the gorges of Ardeche and Cevennes valleys)
Coastal Provence (the Camargue and Mediterranean preserved beaches)
Provence of Mistral, Daudet and Van Gogh (Alpilles, Saint Remy and Les Baux de Provence)
without forgetting the ancient cities of Nîmes, Arles, and Avignon and its festival.

Sehr schön und ruhig!

Es ist alles super sauber und gepflegt. In der Küche ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist praktisch und sehr gemütlich. Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick über das Tal und auf Lussan. Der Pool ist so einladend, dass meine Frau trotz der ungewöhnlich kalten Außentemperaturen Anfang November gebadet hat. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen z.B. wandern direkt vom Haus oder klettern (15 Autominuten bei Seynes)... Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt bei unseren sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern und hoffen, irgendwann mal wieder zu kommen.

Petit mas à l ombre des chěnes

Un endroit très tranquille calme et reposant. La maison est agréable et decorée avec goût. Nous avons beaucoup apprecié la piscine et sa grande terrasse où il est toujours possible de choisir un coin à l ombre ou au soleil. Les propriétaires à proximité sont discrets et charmant. Nous recommandons cette location.

Un séjour très agréable.

Nous avons passé une semaine en Mai. Cette propriété est très agréable pour ceux qui recherche un lieu très calme en pleine nature. Détente totale autour de la piscine. Depuis ce lieu vous avez accès à une multitude de randonnées et de plus cette partie du Gard est très sauvage et il a plein de lieur à visiter. Nous recommandons ce lieu avec ses propriétaires très sympathique qui ont un acceuil très chaleureux et à votre écoute.

Ascension en famille

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est fonctionnelle, on s'y sent bien ! Pas besoin de s'encombrer car les petites choses comme le sel, poivre, sucre, vinaigre, café, essuie-tout... sont fournis !!! L'environnement est calme et reposant (même si nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine car la météo était un peu juste). Les filles ont pu nourrir les chevaux avec Jean-Pierre :-) Des sentiers à faire à pieds ou à vélo démarrent du gîte, et nous avons pu profiter à fond avec les enfants ! Jean-Pierre et Françoise sont très discrets mais à l'écoute et de bons conseils, merci à eux pour ce séjour reposant ;-) -Roux Family-

Traumhafte Gite in Gard

Wir, mein Mann und meine 12 jährige Tochter verbrachten 2 wundervolle Wochen in diesem traumhaften Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist überaus geschmackvoll eingerichtet und top ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und bieten viel Platz. Die meiste Zeit verbrachten wir allerdings draußen- es gibt 2 Terrassen und 1 kleinen Vorgarten. Von der Hauptterrasse gehen 2 Steinstufen zum Poolbereich mit Gegenstromanlage. Hier findet man Liegen und vor allem den ganzen Tag natürliche Schattenquellen. Jean-Pierre und seine Familie sind äußerst sympathisch, sehr diskret und hilfsbereit. Abgerundet wird dieses wunderbare Anwesen durch die Pferde der Familie, die Ruhe durch die phantastische Lage oben am Hügel von Beth und dem Blick auf Lussan. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Entspannter Urlaub in gemütlichem Haus

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dem wunderschönen „Gîte sous les chênes“ verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Wie im Juli zu erwarten, war es sehr heiß und wir haben den Pool sehr genossen. Man konnte am Rand des Pools wahlweise in der Sonne liegen oder im Schatten der namensgebenden Eichen entspannen. Nachts hat es sich angenehm abgekühlt, so dass einem erholsamen Schlaf nichts im Wege stand. Jean-Pierre und seine Frau sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und zugleich unaufdringlich. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist angenehm ruhig und idyllisch, aber nicht zu abgeschieden. Vom Garten aus sieht man das malerisch auf einem Hügel gelegene Lussan, bis Uzès ist es mit dem Auto nicht allzu weit. Auch Städte wie Orange, Avignon und Nimes waren gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.

Seulement 4 jours "sous les chênes" mais comme si nous avions passé 10 jours de vacances à décompresser. Dès l'appel téléphonique pour annoncer notre arrivée nous sentons que nous allons être accueillis. Nous l'avons été. Le site est agréable, silencieux, très bien entretenu et les propriétaires, attentifs et discret. Le fille de la maison vous proposera peut être une ballade avec Real du Sauvage qui n'a de sauvage que le nom. On reviendra.

Magnifique séjour ....

Nous avons passé une super semaine de vacances avec nos enfants de 3 et 6 ans. Le gîte correspond vraiment à sa description! Il est très agréable, propre, fonctionnel et bien équipé dans une propriété très bien entretenue et au calme! La piscine est à volonté avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne! Le plus de ce gîte c'est l'accueil de Jean-Pierre et Francoise très sympathiques, à l'écoutes et discrets. Et un grand merci à Maud qui a partagé avec nous sa passion pour les chevaux et qui a pris de son temps pour un petit tour avec Réal ! Beaucoup de visites à faire aux alentours. Séjour merveilleux !!!

Magnifique séjour ! Un havre de paix dans un coin de paradis :) Le cadre est magnifique, luxuriant de végétation, piscine en pente douce avec vue sur les montagnes depuis l'eau... Excellents petits déjeuners, variés, propriétaires discrets mais toujours disponibles. L'endroit idéal pour les amoureux de la nature !!! Wonderful trip ! A haven of peace in a piece of heaven :) The frame is magnificent, luxuriant of vegetation, swimming pool sloping gently with a view of mountains since the water... Excellent breakfasts, varied Owners discreet but always available. The ideal place for the nature lovers!!!

Secluded mas in the garrigue

Mixed feelings about this gite with swimming pool. Secluded property with charming hosts. Be aware this pool is ideal for splashing about and keeping cool rather than swimming as it is very shallow. Sadly when we arrived the forced jet for swimming was not functioning so we were disappointed not to be able to swim against the current. My husband really wanted to swim! The Mazet [small farmbuilding] is charming but is in need of refreshment, particularly the beds! Overall this is an ideal place for couples with children.

Des vacances de rêve !

Nous avons passé deux semaines "sous les chênes" avec nos deux enfants de 3 et 8 ans... et n'avons pas été déçus par ce gîte et son environnement ! Logement fonctionnel et décoré avec goût , terrasses agréables, grand espace d'aventures pour les enfants, grande piscine à volonté... et accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires. Tout est réuni pour passer de bonnes vacances. La région est magnifique, jolis villages, grottes, rivières. ..et la mer pas si loin pour une excursion d'une journée. Merci à Maud d'avoir partagé avec nous sa passion pour les chevaux , les enfants étaient ravis !

Toujours un plaisir !

Gite de charme bénéficiant d'un panorama exceptionnel à couper le souffle. Calme, ressourçant à souhait. On en revient tout serein et à nouveau prêt, à affronter cette vie, si active. Comment résister à la chaleur de ces lieux et à la fraîcheur de la piscine mise à disposition. Rien de tel qu’un barbecue au bois de chêne, à l’ombre des arbres, bercés par le chant des cigales. J’en deviens poétesse… Besoin de respirer ? Cet endroit regorge de lieux à visiter. De précieux moments d'évasion en perspective pour s'échapper du quotidien. Nous en avons pris plein nos yeux ! Nous remercions sincèrement les propriétaires d’être si généreux et de nous permettre de revenir chez soi avec de si magnifiques souvenirs. Famille PRETE

Tout y est. La tranquillité absolue, l'ombre bienfaitrice des innombrables chênes si agréable après les promenades sous le soleil généreux du Gard, la jolie piscine prête à vous accueillir à tout moment de la journée, le gîte très confortable, fonctionnel, meublé avec beaucoup de goût, ou rien ne manque. Ajoutez à tout cela la gentillesse des propriétaires Jean-Pierre et Françoise, très discrets mais toujours disponibles pour répondre à vos questions. Depuis maintenant une trentaine d'années que nous louons à deux époques de la saison, le GITE SOUS LES CHÊNES est notre meilleur surprise, nous y reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir.
