Great place in a central location. We never took the tube anywhere, walked always. Unit has all the amenities and host was very responsive with communication.
We really enjoyed this beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. The windows that opened onto the boulevard were wonderful and the place was the perfect size for us. The bathroom was a little tight, but not surprising for a Paris apartment. We loved our stay.
We liked the old school vibe of the place. Our host, Nadia M, was the best we had in our 10 week stay. She was excellent and made our stay even better. The location was perfect and convenient and we walked everywhere. Storage for clothing and in the bathroom were the only challenge.
Amazing Location in the heart of Marais. So many great shops and restaurants right outside the door. Nadia was an amazing host and gave lots of recommendations of places to eat and explore. Little balcony great to sit and have wine and cheese on. Big open living room/kitchen area. Short walk to Metro if you need it. Unit has AC and a small elevator so no lugging the bags up to your floor. Only drawback is the shower is super tiny.

Thanks for your review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay.
I loved staying at this property. The location is fantastic, the building is beautiful but I would recommend getting a new bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch because the bed really hurts my back and hips. The mattress was very thin.
Location is absolutely amazing! Multiple restaurants/parisien cafes, bakery, fromagerie (cheese shop), theater, metro all at walking distance. Apartment was very clean and charming. Nadia was prompt in answering my questions. I highly recommend if you like to be in a nice, safe , animated and vibrant neighborhood like Le Marais!

What a lovely apartment!!! Quaint balcony, large windows, comfortable bed, washer/dryer combo, and more. We sat on the balcony each morning with our coffee and each night with a glass of wine. Great location in the La Marais neighborhood. Close to shopping, restaurants, train/subway stops, and numerous attractions. The cafe across the street was adorable and the pizza place down the street was amazing!
Our host, Nadia, was great!! She was quick to respond to inquiries about the apartment and to offer suggestions on anything Paris. Will definitely be staying here if/when we make it back to Paris!
The apartment is lovely! Beautifully furnished, well-stocked, nice layout, surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and centrally located in a quiet building. It’s worth noting that the AC unit is very loud, so if you’re working from the apartment as I was, this could be a distraction. Elevator wasn’t working however the property managers warned me of this in advance and gave me an opportunity to switch rentals. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive, which I appreciate. All in all it was a wonderful 12 nights in Paris!
Nadia was very welcoming and energetic. She was easy to get in touch with and the information in the apartment led us to many wonderful sights and delicious food. The apartment was well-appointed (comfortable bed) with everything we needed. This area has a lot to offer--bakeries, restaurants, shops. This can be a too-noisy, too-vibrant area for retirees, but we enjoyed it. Loved sitting on the small balcony, watching the busy-ness of Parisians on their way home from work/school. Would definitely return to this spot. Close to the Louvre and Marais markets and eateries. Restaurants that we recommend within walking distance (If you like to walk a lot--which we do): La Source (Near Musee D'Orsay), Au Bascou, Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie, Fumoir (Near Louvre), Cafe des Musees.

Charme Marais Paris
This apartment is beautifully decorated, love the balcony as well.
All appliances are in working order and easy to use. Cobble stone preparation for the visit is excellent, the apartment has every info about Paris you would need.
There is a grocery store on the same block, very handy!
Location is perfect, most attractions are in walking distance. Rue Montorgeuil is very near with its markets, shops and restaurants. Apartment is 100 meters from St Etienne subway stop.
Keep in mind that its a bit noisy in Paris and apartment overlooks a cross street. Building has an elevator, fits one person with a suitcase.
Highly recommend the Charme Marais

Oh for a good night's sleep
The property itself was fine but communication was bad. We were never able to work the TV and we contacted the management with no success. There were 4 keys needed to get in and out . fire hazard. It was so noisy that we could not sleep at night. This is the fifth time that I have booked through vrbo and this was the worst experience. I think we deserve a refund.
This is one gourgeous apartment in the heart of Paris!!!
We stayed during Christmas in this charming Paris apartment. The location was central and so convevient - all major attractions were within walking distance. We had a great communication with the property manager before our stay, arrived late at night (around 10:30 pm) and were greeted by the very nice and friendly property representative Nadia who showed us around and answered all our questions. Nadia was available on Whatsapp during our stay if we had any issues. The apartment is beautifully renovated and decorated, all appliances worked great, it was very comfortable. It has a separate bedroom, which is great if you travel with a teenager. :) We were greeted with a bottle of red wine which we really appreciated. We also received complementary tickets with this rental - one-hour Seine boat cruise which was lovely. Everything was great but if you're hoping to have a quiet stay, this rental may not be for you since the apartment is located at a very busy and loud intersection. We didn't mind it at all - hense we gave it 5 stars.
We really enjoyed our trip here overall, with some definite caveats. The location is excellent- it is a little on the western side of Marais, which tends to be a bit less touristy overall. There are a ton of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the Metro is a block away. It's extremely easy to get anywhere in Paris very quickly. The actual apartment is nice and spacious for the price. The bathroom is absolutely tiny and not very nice (even for Parisian apartments) but otherwise you've got a very nice living room and then separate bedroom. There's a cute wraparound balcony with a tiny little table and chairs. The issue is that it overlooks two VERY busy roads, which can be quite noisy at times. When the windows are closed you can't really hear anything, except when an emergency vehicle goes by (which is pretty common- it's a big city, and these are busy big streets). We did not really use the kitchen at all, but it has the basics. You could make a simple meal there. There's a nice little table and chairs to actually eat if you want. There's also a washing machine that seems to work fine, though it's very small. The biggest downside of the property is definitely the bed. The mattress is EXTREMELY hard and the bed just isn't very comfortable. I've seen other reviews that mention this, but it's a real issue. Overall, I would recommend this property if you prioritize location / size / price over most other considerations.

Romantic & perfect location
My husband & I spent two weeks at Charme Marais and we are so happy we did. The location was perfect & it was easy to get anywhere in Paris either by walking Le Metro or Uber. There was great shopping and restaurants steps away from the apartment. The apartment is well appointed and perfect for two people. We stayed during cool weather so we were not bothered by the street noise since we kept the windows closed. Cobblestone proved to be a terrific company to work with from providing links to schedule airport car service to a friendly & well informed greeter to take you thru your new home upon arrival. This apartment has everything you need for your stay (dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, internet, microwave/oven/stove). All appliances worked perfectly. There is also a large closet and some electronic plug converters available in the apartment which was not mentioned on the website. It is tastefully decorated and we felt like real Parisians for the two weeks we stayed. The apartment is on the 3rd (2nd European) floor not too hard to climb the stairs but the elevator was most appreciated after long days of sight seeing. We felt safe and comfortable and knew we had the support of the Cobblestone staff if we needed it. We hope to return to Paris again some day and we will definitely want to stay here again.

Thanks for your kind comments! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we'll be happy to have you back on your next trip to Paris!

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days and loved it! It was very clean and the location was perfect. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend!

Fine accommodations, lack luster building
All our communication with the management company was top notch! The process of check in was clear and easy. They responded immediately to all emails, gave great recommendations and answered all our questions. The Greeter was on time, very friendly, and accommodating. The apartment was as pictured, which was great. However, first, the building was either dealing with a water leak or not properly maintained as the hallway, stairway and foyer smelled of mold and dampness. It was very overwhelming and continued throughout our stay. Once in the apartment foyer it wasn't apparent. Inside the apartment smelled fine, and it was properly cleaned for our stay. Though, the white carpet was vacuumed, but heavily stained, and the window sheers were dusty. The biggest obstacle to our enjoyment of the apartment was ventilation and noise. I'm from New York City so my tolerance for outside noise is pretty high, but in this case, you needed the windows open in order to get fresh air, but couldn't keep them open because of the noise. There is no AC so it was quite hot for the first few days and nights, making sleep very uncomfortable. Because the patio wrapped around the entire flat and was shared with other units, we didn't feel safe sleeping with the patio doors open, and there are only patio doors, no windows. The shutters had a clamp on them but could easily be pulled open from the outside, through having the shutters closed did let in a fair amount of air flow it wasn't enough and didn't block any noise. It was truly nice to have such a Parisian styled flat that made us feel like we were more locals than tourists, but the entry way and stairway smells were grossly uncomfortable. Being right in the middle of Paris, close to the metro and central to a lot of attractions was a plus.

Great location!
We easily walked to so many locations, Louvre, Latin Quarter, and Rue Montorgeuil for food. The apartment was charming and comfortable. We had the most perfect weather but I don't think I could survive a heat wave with no A/C. Other than that we enjoyed breakfast and happy hour on the balcony. It was a wonderful experience!

Beautiful place in the centre of Paris
Having never been to Paris we wanted a place close to evrerything yet with a home feel. La Charme Du Marais gave us all the amenities with personal touches, like spices in the kitchen, and books on Paris. The manager provided us with a greeter, and she gave us great information about the area, as well as follow up a few days later. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a real home experience in Paris.

Great apartment, convenient location
Believe it or not, this property is actually a little better than it looks. It's very clean and comfortable. There is also a lot of room for a Paris apartment. The closet easily held clothing for three people. The boulevard is a busy street, but the dual-glazed windows keep most of the noise out. If you need a very quiet place to sleep, pack earplugs. For those of you renting in winter, rest assured that the heating works well. Cobblestone also provides a great booklet full of helpful information. I would rent this apartment again.
