Beachfront property, 180 ocean view, fireplace, and private path down to beach.
Old-time 1970s beach cabin with fireplace and 180 degree view of Netarts Bay, Pacific Ocean, Three Rocks Wildlife Refuge, Cape Lookout, and Netarts Spit.

No other houses block your view. The property borders the sand. Your private path winds through pines and huckleberries to the driftwood and sand.
According to one reviewer, the cabin exemplifies the Danish word, "Hygga," --the quality of coziness, solitude, comfort, and contentment. Pick huckleberries outside the kitchen door, September-October--or crabs and clams from the bay.

Great accommodations! This is our third year at Pat and Kate’s place. Always quick and responsive. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories every year.
Best Stay Ever!We loved everything about this place. It saw a cozy 2 bedroom house, super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood felt super safe and walkout to the bay was an added bonus. We accidentally locked ourselves out and had to call Pat/Kate on a Sunday evening. They were super nice/compassionate and helped us out immediately. Hope to come back for a stay again someday!
We had a great family trip staying in this cozy cabin. What views! The provided amenities were perfect and the atmosphere of the lodging was spot on. We would gladly stay here again.
Took our family of 5 for spring break. We were all comfortable and the views were great! It was easy to check in and check out. Will be saving this house again in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We loved our stay. The cabin was wonderful and very relaxing. Small enough to keep our kids close but big enough to give us all space. Beautiful location. Hoping to come back next year!

Thank you! The steps is being fixed, and we will look for a new magnetic strip for the shower. We look forward to hearing from you again. Pat & Kate
It's been a very stressful winter, and this is exactly what the doctor ordered. It was more beautiful than the pictures can relate. Thank you for sharing this special place.
You couldn’t ask for a better view! This place is located in an ideal spot. It is only 6 miles out of Tillamook, but feels so private. We had everything we needed and truly enjoyed our 7 night stay!
If you’re looking for someplace down to earth for the beach experience this is definitely the place for you. This is the second year that I brought my family to stay here and I have no complaints. It’s ideal for a family to stay and play. I am so glad that I introduced my grandchildren and great grandchildren to the Netart community. I just wish I had discovered it before I reached the age that I have. This was probably my last visit because it’s getting hard for me but what a visit it was. Paddle boarding, swimming, kite flying, you name it! What a perfect place.
One of the cutest places we’ve stayed. It has a cool, boho and mellow vibe. It’s like a woodland vintage cabin. It’s so cozy and moody with the wood clad living room, fireplace, and super comfy couches. The kitchen is left vintage, cute, and sufficient. We cooked every day. It was stocked with everything we needed, including the coffee filters lol. An amazing record collection and sound system. Let’s see what else. The bathrooms are so 60s retro but they were good. Soft towels, very comfy beds, and heaters in each room were perfect. But the true highlight of our stay was the view of the ocean from every west facing window of the house. You can’t help but stop and take it all in. The view of the big rocks was breathtaking. The adorable short little foresty path going to the beach below, it zigzags in an easy going elevation. However, it wasn’t easy enough for my 80 year old mother to attempt. Speaking of, the house is not street level so you have to walk down 10ish steps down to the front entry and again, mom struggled just a bit. Also, guests should know that the the beaches are lined with a narrow border of beautiful black stones. So walking through and over the short depth of this required some concentration and balance. And you have to pay attention to the tides, but they provide a tides schedule to follow. Sitting out on the deck was spectacular. All in all, it was a little bit of heaven and now we all want to move to Netarts lol.
Cozy, comfortable, right on a spectacular beach. The kitchen and baths are well-stocked and in great shape, and the property is relaxing and lovely. We really appreciated the binoculars and various Audubon and nature guides, as well as the comfortable bed. Hope to return soon!
The VRBO listing was accurate in that this is an older campy home. However, it failed to mention the stairs from the street to the entrance, which I found problematic. I was also unable to navigate the path to the sand. However, the kitchen was well equipped, and we loved having a real fireplace, which we used every day. The location was great, but we weren't aware it only had on street parking...The camp style of the home was just what we wanted. We had bald eagles fly by a few times and watching the seals, herons, and huge flock of pelicans was amazing.I reccomend this home, but with the caveat to be aware of the stairs, and also if you are a larger person like me, consider bringing your own camp chair for comfort. The home was clean, and very well equipped. we had a wonderful time.

Cozy cabin!
Very comfortable cabin with nice fireplace and beautiful view. Well appointed kitchen. We had a family reunion so we also rented the next door cabin at VRBO 19967. The two cabins side by side are very convenient for group fun!
We loved everything about our stay at this wonderful home. Pat and Kate are the ultimate hosts, providing helpful information about the area and making the entire rental process very easy and welcoming. Views from the property were amazing and we enjoyed short walks to the shoreline and The Schooner restaurant nearby. Looking forward to our next stay at this tranquil property! Scott and Libby
Loved everything about this place from the wooden gate and fence to the old school charm and vintage decor and the easy walk to the beach. We did bonfires and roasted marshmallows until tides came up and put the fire out. Kids found sand dollars and met several nice folks walking along the shore.

About the host
Hosted by Pat & Kate Spurlock
Netarts is our escape to solitude and nature, a place to enjoy the fireplace any month of the year--to read, design, write, whittle, kayak, explore. Crabbing season is September - April; clams and oysters year round. This has been our family cabin for forty years, and we share it to pay for its preservation.
Why they chose this property
Netarts is still the quiet uncrowded beach experience, unlike Cannon Beach or Oceanside. The cabin is on Pearl Street, which fronts pristine Netarts Bay, known for its oysters and Dungeness crab.
Even during winter months Netarts can be surprisingly like summer.
The cabin is situated so you feel you are the only people there.
Grocery stores, coffeeshops and restaurants are near by if you need them.

What makes this property unique
This cabin is actually on the beach (unlike others that say they are) with unobstructed view of Netarts Spit that encloses Netarts Bay, and the ocean beyond.
Wildlife surrounds. Eagles nest above the house. Seals snooze on the spit between every tide. Pelicans dive in late summer.
Clams and crabs can be gathered at low tide (clams with shovel, crabs with headlamp and a long arm!) or at high tide with a boat.
Huckleberries grow on bushes surrounding the cabin, and in PROFUSION among the pines on the Spit! Bring your boat!
