West Beach House is a great holiday home, located on a quiet road but within easy walking distance to everything the vibrant seaside town of Whitstable has to offer. The house has a lot of entertaining space from the large living room to the games room and the open plan kitchen/dining room. French doors lead out on to a large decked area and garden, perfect for al fresco dining and for children to play. Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with wardrobes and drawers for yoiur belongings. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a bath and separate shower cubicle.

Access to the beach is via a pleasant footpath which takes you over the golf course, and onto the long stretch of West Beach. From here, a pathed promenade leads you into the town centre. The working harbour is at the heart of the town, from where you can get boat trips out to the famous sea forts, and pick up some lovely seafood from the fish markets.

The town itself is a charming mix of independent boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. There is usually some live music playing in the local pubs at weekends and this adds to the amazing buzz of this lively town.

If you want to get out and about, the City of Canterbury is a short drive, as is the historic market town of Faversham. Both places can also be accessed on foot via some stunning footpaths.

Between November and March there is an additional fuel charge to be paid by BACs to the owner 2 weeks prior to arrival (£60 for a week stay, £40 short break)

Very chic holiday let. Close to beach and a short drive into Whitstable itself. Plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. (All taking the threat of Covid-19 seriously). Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Well equipped house with super hosts

We had an excellent stay at the property, the cottage is spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need, summer or winter. It’s in a great location with an easy walk to the beach shops & cafes in Whitstable. Supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive away for a full on food shop. The hosts were fantastic they couldn’t do enough for us but were never intrusive. We stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas and new year to be near family in the area. When we arrived there were lots of little extra touches that were so thoughtful: a decorated Christmas tree, a poinsettia, chocolates, biscuits & 2 bottles of Prosecco. When they found out we were cooking Xmas dinner for family they were quick to offer more plates, crockery pans etc. I thoroughly recommend the cottage and it’s hosts and look forward to returning at some point in the future.
