Charming cottage in conservation area , 200 yds from the sea - the best spot for pubs, restaurants and beach in Whitstable.Ideal for couples ( sorry no young children anymore) Great place to discover Kent or relax in a private secluded garden . There’s parking included as well. Please ignore the one nasty review I have received- it was from someone hell bent on only ever intending to stay 2 nights but had to book for 5 minimum. They complained the minute they walked in , I had a cleaner go round immediately while they were there - but nothing pleased her. Unfortunately VRBO have done nothing to protect me from People like that so I’m having to implore future tenants to look beyond one nasty review and see the cottage for what it really is. Thank you

A quaint cottage, very well located.
However this cottage was not our cup of tea. Reason being was we found living among the owner's personal clutter oppressive.
Instructions left at the cottage need updating and should be made more clear and concise. Due to confusion it resulted in us having no hot water, heating or TV for the first night of our stay.
I fear the overall cleanliness of the cottage did not reach our high standards that we expected for the cost. Cutlery looked very old and was exposed to the elements, stained mugs required washing before use, plus volumes of dust beneath the first floor bed!
The cottage is tired and in parts needs repair, hence in our opinion was not good value for our money.
Due to the above we left this cottage after only two nights having paid for five nights!
Good communication with Karin owner of house throughout, and bottle of prosecco in fridge on arrival. Nice location and within walking distance to beach and surrounding areas, shops, restaurants etc.
Beautiful little suntrap garden to rear of property. Small kitchen but everything what you need. Comfortable beds in both bedrooms. Could do with a few repairs to property but overall was perfect for short stay.

Thank you for your kind review- thank you for pointing out things that need redoing , by the end of the summer quite a lot needs to be maintained as I haven’t had a chance to get to it.
So pleased you had a lovely time
Karin
Really lovely place to stay. Very central to everything in Whitstable. Lovely space, nice and cool in the hot weather. Kitchen very small for any sort of cooking though. Nice little courtyard garden. Washing machine in utility room
Great cottage in perfect location, quiet but close to everything
Charming cottage in fantastic location, quiet but close to everything and beautifully furnished with a wonderful garden - felt like a home from home
Would definitely stay here again
We had such a great time in this conveniently located cottage just a stone's throw from the beach in Whitstable! The owner has created a true home from home with beautiful interiors and design. a cosy and sunny downstairs living space & 2 lovely, large sized bedrooms and spacious and well appointed bathroom and a sun-drenched garden space really makes the property with excellent seating for when you are blessed with the weather!
We would have loved a slightly larger kitchen with modern equipment given we were cooking in most nights due to the pandemic and lack of indoor dining but would definitely go back!
