Beautiful property surrounded by lush vegetation with lots of privacy next to the forest and a beautiful stream. Ideal for families or groups of friends. 10 minutes from the main attractions of the area (hot springs, theme parks, National Park, among others).
We have air conditioning, wifi, armchairs, tv, the house is very well equipped, the place is super quiet and is very close to the center of La Fortuna, just 10 minutes from downtown.

Best stay in Lafortuna

Arnaldo has one of the best properties you’ll find in Costa Rica. A gated property with fully furnished homes, heated pools & sloths on property. Every morning was a delight to wake up to see Toucans & macaws floating around & that early morning coolness. Wonderful stay!!

Casa COLIBRÍ Rubi

Wonderful accommodations and great location. The kids felt like royalty and were so impressed with the house and the pool. We drove into La Fortuna daily for restaurants and wandering and did a bunch of activities as well. Nothing was more than a 20 minute drive.

Great Stay

This property is wonderful, there are other houses on the property but they are all very private. The groundskeeper showed us where the local sloth was each morning. We saw a ton of toucans one day they were so fun to watch. Having the pool right out the back door is wonderful. Need a car as it’s a bit out of townwatch.

Tranquil La Fortuna Retreat

Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. We especially loved the pool and terrace where we sat and played games each night as a family. The caretaker brought us to visit a sloth on the property and we were invited to walk the lovely grounds. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to return soon!

Quiet property outside of La Fortuna

Quiet, beautiful pool, amazing views, close enough to La Fortuna for essentials, food, and activities yet far enough to relax. Take a walk around the property to see sloths and other wildlife.

Beautiful property - off the beaten path but close to everything

The house was very modern and clean with a lovely infinity pool and gorgeous huge bathrooms. Nice to have Alexa at our disposal for lights etc. Very comfortable beds and lots of privacy.

Perfect for family vacation near in La Fortuna

Nice, Clean house close to all the things to do in the La Fortuna area. Gated so you feel safe. My girls loved the infinity pool. Bedrooms were spacious.

Perfect spot

This was the perfect spot and everything we hoped for. So much room to spread out for a family of 4 and conveniently located near everything we wanted to see. Everyone there was so helpful and informative. Can't think of a better way to experience the La Fortuna area! We loved it. Thanks for the stay!

Excellent property and exactly as advertised. Great location as long as you have a car. Property owner was excellent and very responsive to any questions and was always trying to help us with any of our tour/activity questions. Very clean property and nice grounds. Would highly recommend.

Wow! The house was wonderful!

We loved the property! One morning we were eating breakfast and we heard monkeys so we followed the sound coming from the woods in the side yars and we found the monkeys. The next morning the my son in law spoted a sloths in one of the trees on the property. We are a family of 8 and the house was very spacious and comfortable.

My phone didn't work even though I contacted my service. So we had a hard time contacting the host. But when we got there it was everything we had hoped for and more . It was so beautiful and peaceful. We can't wait to go back some day

Fabulous - Felt like Home

Fabulous - Felt like Home, actually better than home. We could have just moved in and stayed forever. We LOVED this home, the location, and the property. The views! The home is spacious and the bedrooms have air conditioning. Everything was clean and lovely. We enjoyed the pool at the end of the day. They made it so easy to be here with clear instructions on how to get here, how to get in and use the property. They are more high tech than we are at home. Alexia turns on the pool waterfall when you ask! Can't wait to come again! Thank you for a wonderful visit and stay in Costa Rica!

Great Family Stay

We had a lovely time at Casa Colibri in Arenal! We were 5 adults (parents and 3 adult children) traveling for the holiday. There was plenty of space for us to relax and have privacy. We really appreciate that Arnaldo the host was easy to contact and provided us with a welcome packet via email, so we weren’t bugging him with questions. The location was a little further from La Fortuna than we’d thought, but it was lovely. We felt very safe and had easy access to markets and restaurants. Looks like the kitchen had recently been improved by quite a bit and a few appliances had not been fully hooked up. We would’ve loved to have a clothes line or somewhere to hang wet swim clothes but we’re able to make do. Pool and outdoor area were great! Arenal is a must visit. Would absolutely stay at Casa Colibri again!

Exceeded My Expectations

Casa Colibrí exceeded my expectations. The house and property was much prettier than the pictures. The house suited are family of six. We saw toucans and macaws every day. The grounds keeper showed us a sloth on the property that totally made my girls trip. The house was gorgeous and looks brand new. The location is great because you're only a mile away from an awesome and clean super market (El Abuelo). We would definitely stay here again. I thought the pricing per person was an odd thing to have on a rental since I never came across this in my many rentals in the past. My parents decided to join us last minute which we had to increase our party size from 4 to 6, therefore had to pay extra for them. Regardless we would stay here again! Pura Vida!!!

This house was amazing and fit our family of 5 perfectly! Everyone had their own space and slept great. The patio was perfect to relax, eat a meal and watch the kids swim (even in the rain). The kitchen was great for cooking in on the nights we were too tired to go out. The property is beautiful and has two sloths living there (the owner pointed them out to us multiple times) and my kids even named one of them. It was a perfect location and very quiet but also located close to numerous activities. We were very sad to leave. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Great place! Pictures don't do it justice. Owners were very responsive. We loved the stay. Just far enough from the town of La Fortuna to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough to enjoy all that is offered. Check in was a breeze. Would highly recommend.,

Great home. It's one of those places that you instantly start thinking about when you might return there again. We came with kids this time but the house is so nice and with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we thought it would be perfect to return with a group of friends. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in it. We also saw 3 different sloths right there on the property. This was by far the nicest and best equipped home we stayed at during our trip.

Beautiful, Clean House, quiet neighborhood

This property was an outstanding stay for us! Two adults, travelling with 1 adult child. Clean, well kept, modern build house, with a spectacular pool/waterfall and a well manicured yard. This property is a great place off the beaten path but close to everything. We would definitely come back!
